Aave - 7. AAVE and stAAVE movements

    Introduction

Due to Aave's protocol for decentralized cryptocurrency lending, users are no longer obliged to go through centralized intermediaries in order to lend or borrow bitcoin. This is because the protocol removes the obligation for them to do so and eliminates the necessity for them to do so. When users of a protocol store the digital assets they hold in "liquidity pools," those assets are converted into capital that the protocol can then lend to other users of the protocol. This allows users to more easily purchase additional digital assets.

    Method

I used ethereum.core.fact_event_logs Tables by filtering the following addresses:

    • Stake & Unstake:

      0x4da27a545c0c5b758a6ba100e3a049001de870f5

    • Deposit & Withdraw:

      1. 0x7d2768de32b0b80b7a3454c06bdac94a69ddc7a9.

      2. 0x398ec7346dcd622edc5ae82352f02be94c62d119.

then, Using the ethereum.core.ez token transfers database, we looked for the tx hash and determined the other values.

I utilised the =='Staked'== event for staked transactions, =='Redeem'== for unstaked ones, =='Deposit'== for deposits, =='Withdraw'== for withdrawals, and 'RedeemUnderlying' for redemptions of underlying holdings.

Using the AAVE token as a basis, I did some research on it starting in January of 2021.

    Analysis

Overall View on Stake & UnStaking

    Conclusion

    • It would appear that a bigger number of persons utilised the AAVE procedure in the year 2021 as compared to the year 2022. Documentation of the vast bulk of the actions was completed between January 2021 and October 2021.
    • We are unable to render a verdict on either this protocol or any other procedures that have been put into place over the course of the last eight months. We are at bear markets. Since the beginning of the year, every one of the procedures has been reduced in length. On the other hand, the good news is that the number of people who staked their bets and made deposits was higher than the number of people who did not risk their bets and withdrew their money.

This Dashboard examines the AAVE protocol on the Ethereum blockchain and covers topics such as Staking, Unstaking, Deposit, & Withdrawal. To better understand AAVE, I investigated the following factors:

    • Daily AAVE supplied and withdrawn on Aave protocol.

    • Daily AAVE staked and unstaked.

    • Unique Users & Transactions Count

    • Sum in Aave & &USD Volume

    • Mentioned Metrics on moths of year

Stake & UnStake on Month of Year

    Transactions Count

    • Similar proportions of unstaked and staked bets can be seen in its chart as well. This indicates that none of the users engaged in any strange behaviours.
    • When compared to 2021, the total number of transactions involving stake and unstake was lower in 2022.
    • The month of January 2021 through the month of February 2021 saw the most activity overall.

    Unique Stakers & Unstakers:

    • Since January 2021, 61.8% of users have been stakeholders, while the remaining 38% have not.
    • Between January 2021 and September 2021, the majority of users were present on AAVE.
    • On July 19, 2022, there were 1035 unique users, which was the day with the biggest number of stakers. On February 21, 2021, the number of unstakers was at its maximum.

    Cumulative Transactions Count

    • According to the Cumulative Chart, we are able to deduce that customers staked more than they unstaked.

    • The number of participants in the Cumulative Stakes activities was twice as high as those in the Unstakes activities.

I looked at each month of the year to see if there were any peaks.

    • During the months of February through May, the number of stake transactions and unique stakers was relatively high. However, in December, the majority of volume in terms of both average and dollars was unstaked.
    • During the months of January, February, March, May, June, and July, more than 65 percent of the stake was placed by more than 70 percent of the unique stakers.
    • On December and May, approximately half of the sum that had been staked was redeemed and became unstaked.

    • The percentage of sums that were deposited was 51.7%, and the percentage of amounts that were withdrawn was 48.3%.

    Month of Year

I looked at each month of the year to see if there were any peaks.

During the months of February through May, the number of Deposit transactions and unique Depositors was relatively high. However, in April, the majority of volume in terms of both Aave and &USD was Deposited.

During the months of January, February, March, May, June, and July, more than 65 percent of the Deposit was placed by more than 70 percent of the unique Depositors.

On Marc, Feb and May, approximately half of the sum that had been Deposited was Withdrawn.

Daily amount of Stakes and Unstakes Volume in Aave & $USD

    • The fact that the number of people who took the offer was higher than the number of people who declined it is something that we are already aware of. On the other hand, these charts show that the amounts of money that were not gambled were far higher than the amounts of money that were gambled.

    • The amount of money that was not staked reached a total of 1.3 billion US dollars, while the value of the stake was 1.1 billion US dollars.

    • On only 46.8 percent of the total AAVE was a wager placed, while the other 53.3 percent was not. AAVE started before 2021.

Deposit & withdraw amounts in Aave & $USD over time

    • There were numerous highs and lows along the way. As is already well known to us, the majority of events took place at the start of 2021.
    • In cumulative amount, more than 3m Deposited & withdrawn in Aave, and more than 800m In &USD.
    • The Deposit was at its maximum point on the 26th of April, 2021, when it was 34 million dollars US.
    • On March 7, 2021, the amount of money withdrawn was 39 million US dollars, which was the biggest amount ever.
    • Both the quantity of money supplied and withdrawn recently fell below 1 million dollars. Even other days had a drop of less than one hundred thousand US dollars.
