Citizens of NEAR

    Introduction

The NEAR Protocol is an innovative platform for smart contracts that provides both scalability and usability. Through the use of sharding, it will scale in a manner that is linearly proportional to the number of validation nodes on the network. With the help of WebAssembly (through Rust and AssemblyScript), improved contract administration, ephemeral accounts, and a plethora of other innovations, NEAR has made it finally possible for users and developers alike to find it simple to use a blockchain system.

    Method

In the current dashboard, I used the flipside_prod_db.mdao_near.transactions table to find the top 50 addresses that have had the most transactions in the past 30 days as active wallets.

Then, by those tables, I tried to count daily transactions and spent fees by these wallets over the past 90 days.

and at the end, by use of the ***flipside_prod_db.mdao_near.actions_events ***table and actions data column, found the method name as actions that took place by those active wallets over the past 90 days.

In the amongst of top 50 active wallet there was 12 wallets that haven’t name and I named the as unknown wallets#

Q1. If NEAR were a city, who would the citizens be?

    1. Provide a clear definition for “active users” (for example: users who have transacted at least once in the past 30 days).
    2. Then, visualize NEAR’s active users over the past 90 days.
    3. Concisely document any trends or outliers that you observe and provide a 1-2 paragraph summary of active users on NEAR.
