Introduction

Thales is a protocol for making decentralised parimutuel markets available to anyone interested in participating in them. Once the market-settling event concludes, the ultimate payout to participants in a Parimutuel Market is decided from the pooled collateral. Overtime Markets, Ranged Markets, Exotic Markets, and Up and Down Markets are only few of the many market structures that exist.

Bets on Soccer, Football, MMA, and Baseball can be placed through Overtime Markets, an on-chain sports AMM powered by Chainlink sport feeds. The book on optimism from Overtime is where our attention will be concentrated for this feast.

Method

In the current dashboard I tried to find top 5 beneficiary traders over the last two weeks on Overtime Markets.

For this I used the gathered games address on this dashboard, and edited its query to find daily Top 5 trader benefited on Overtime Markets by Sports, & Games.

I appended this table to the optimism.core.fact_token_transfers table to calculate the profits obtained by traders excluding rewards and sell positions.

The top 5 beneficiary addresses are found two ways:  daily over the past two weeks, and in total.

Nowadays, blockchain can make a revaluation on many things. sports and game in real world are two popular issue that entertain more people.

Thales and Overtime Markets bring most popular Sports to the blockchain. So for this we should now how people use of it and how can be beneficiary from this.

Findings:

Baseball, MMA & Football, were the sports with more profits to traders, that we can see that all of top 5 beneficiary traders, gaoned their profits from these three sports.

nearly 30% of gained profits was obtained by the first place wallet. that was because of Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees game.

More than 60k in $USD went to the wallet of top 5 traders.

Findings:

• The top 5 prolific traders, sports and games are shown and in the PIE charts we can find the percentage shares of them on each category.
• The pie and bar chart on the Vis 8 => 11, show all of the games betted on Overtime Markets by the top 5 most profitable bettors over the last 2 weeks.

Findings:

• 0xf72dc326a6b0bc66794c9ab7ed0a4aa01bffb5a9 with Salernitana vs AS Roma game, gained more than 8527.45, that led to settle down in first place of beneficiary traders on Soccer’s Games.

• 0xbf3cbc3efdfa389bcacdbadc79d6349b81b2593e with Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman game, gained more than 11k, and put her/his to the same place of beneficiary traders on MMA’s Games.

• 0xebbefa85adb58ae1c44a6db83d3b52315d4aea11 with Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees game, gained more than 17.5k, that led to settle down in first place of beneficiary traders on Baseball Games. which put her/his in the ==first place== in the two weeks

• 0xd7b8008620e24fab97687a2fbf0d3f106c8ccb6a with Buffalo Bills vs Indianapolis Colts game, gained more than 10k, that led to settle down in first place of beneficiary traders on Football’s Games.

Findings:

The daily top 5 beneficiary traders are shown in the above table, and share of gained profits by them over the past two weeks are shown in the above DONUT chart and Vis 3 in daily.

Vis 2 shows us that Baseball were the most prolific sport for traders over the past two week, that almost in all days was profitable for traders except August 20th, 22 & 23.

On August 15th, most profit went to traders wallets by Baseball sports game that followed by Soccer.

In the Vis 4 & 5, in bellows graph, we can observed that most prolific day of week was Monday.
