Introduction

We've been welcomed with some less than pleasant developments in 2022, one of which being the continuing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In this dashboard, we'll examine the the effect of this unpleasant event on Sushi's metrics and compare it with others.

Method

In related to the question, current dashboard aims to determine the effects of the Ukraine conflict on popular DEXs such as Sushiswap and Uniswap's swap behavior.

To do so, we must first determine the start date of the conflict. According to online reports, the first strike on war occurred on February 24, 2022.

The amount of swaps input and outflow (in USD) for DEXs is approximated.

The most popular DEX tokens are those with the highest volume of swaps.

Analysis

• This graph shows the most popular tokens that were traded for the most sought tokens on Uniswapv2 & v3 and Sushiswap over time. The USDC$ & WETH$ tokens were popular practically every day of the conflict, as illustrated in this graph.
