Introduction

After the announcement of the launch of the $THOR staking on May 4th was enabled, which yielded rewards for stakers, a large amount of THORSwap volume entered the Thor chin awapp program. One way to obtain the count of transactions of Thor tokens was to swap them as mentioned above. The day after the May 4th date, this count of transactions reached its highest level.

Method

• To address the issue of this bounty, I use thorchain.swaps table to calculate count of transaxtions of swaps to Thor.Rune by daily over the month around of date of May 4th.

Analysis

Observation

• As of two above chart the counts of transactions and volume of swaps to THOR.RUNE are shown in 15 days before to 15 days after the date of May 4th that $THOR staking was enabled that yielded rewards for stakers based on THORSwap volume.

Conclusion

• As same of findings on this dashboard, on May 4th, $THOR staking was enabled, which yielded rewards for stakers based on THORSwap volume. The counts of transactions reached their highest level of more than 20K transactions on May 12th, and after that, because of the high volatile days of this month, there is going to be a downtrend spike to date. This is considerable on the chart of daily volume and assets swapped to THOR. RUNE.
