Tracking Realms DAOs

    Introduction

A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) is, at its core, just a group of people who pool their resources and make decisions collectively. By using smart contracts, the DAO's members can make decisions in a transparent and decentralized manner.

A member can make a recommendation for anything from a change in how money is spent to a complete overhaul of the system and its software. Members of the DAO then convene to vote on the proposal. If a certain percentage of voters approve the measure, the smart contract will carry it out.

That's why the DAO model can facilitate a "flat" hierarchy. Every participant in the DAO can influence policy decisions and shape the group's future. Link

    Method

I went to the Realms website, and I discovered the aforementioned Realms ID. After that, I inserted the results of my investigation into the solana.core.fact proposal votes table. Then I tallied up all of the parameters that were requested.

    Analysis

    Conclusion

    • Daily votes favor Imperium of Rain. Between April 19 and May 10, Imperium of Rain received the greatest action. 33.5% support this protocol. Grape is second. Daily activity is low. Most voters in June. MonkeDao held daily elections. MonkeDao has 11%.
    • Grape (28%) had the most actions. "The Imperium of Rain" received 24.8%. Mango placed third with 17.7%. Mango and Grape were busy.
    • Mango was the top bidder. 21% of proposals use Monke Dao. Grape's proposals are 20%. Solend received few ideas.
    • April boosted Imperium of Rain voters. Grape is popular.

Q104. We now have Solana Realms governace data! Their team would love to be able to see a list of DAOs / multisigs built on SPL Governance, and understand their:

    • Number of Members (assuming unique voters is what he means here)
    • Total Votes
    • Number of Proposals
    • Date of Last Proposal
    • Date of Creation

    Hey there 👋!

Firstly, I appreciate you sticking with it until the conclusion.

I’m Hamed, Ph.D. In Civil Engineering and interested in data science.

I've made many similar dashboards and visualizations since I started at Flipside in January.

    Findings:

    • It would appear that The Imperium of Rain has the most amount of voters on the daily leaderboard. The majority of the action took place on The Imperium of Rain between the 19th of April and the 10th of May. This protocol has received support from 33.5% of all voters. Grape is the second most popular protocol, with a total of the highest amount of votes. The daily chart does not appear to show any particularly high levels of activity. The majority of them cast their ballots in June. The third one is called MonkeDao, and it provided daily activities for its voters. 11% of all voters are part of the MonkeDao community.

    • According to the total votes, the majority of activities were conducted on Grape, which received 28% of the votes. The second place finisher was "The Imperium of Rain," which received 24.8% of the votes cast. Mango came in third place, receiving 17.7% of the available votes to earn that position. Both Mango and Grape participated in activities nearly every day.

    • Mango received the most total bids, making it the candidate with the most interest in the position. The Monke Dao method comes in second place, accounting for 21% of all proposals. Grape comes in third place, accounting for 20% of the total number of proposals. It's interesting to note that Solend received the fewest suggestions overall.

    • You can clearly observe how the number of voters in The Imperium of Rain rose in April. Grape continues to show steady increase in terms of the number of voters.
