User Adoption in the Aptos Ecosystem through Projects

Welcome to the APTOS Projects: Attracting New Users Dashboard for the year 2023, a comprehensive tool for exploring and analyzing the influx of new users into the APTOS ecosystem. Our aim is to provide invaluable insights into project growth, track user engagement, and identify projects that are making significant strides in onboarding new users.

In a rapidly evolving blockchain landscape, the significance of attracting and retaining users cannot be overstated. This dashboard is meticulously designed to empower you with the data needed to make informed decisions, contributing to the growth and success of the APTOS blockchain community.

    Key Objectives:

    📈 Charting New User Growth

Dive into the APTOS Blockchain using Flipsidecrypto project labeling to create dynamic charts displaying the growth of new users on a project basis. Understand the evolution of user adoption within the APTOS ecosystem.

    🆚 Project Comparison

Discover how many users the top projects within APTOS have attracted over time. This section allows you to compare the growth of projects to the overall address growth across the entire APTOS ecosystem, gaining a holistic view of thriving projects.

    🏆 Identify Growth Leaders

Uncover which projects are garnering the most new users.

    🧩 Dashboard Sections

The APTOS Projects: Attracting New Users Dashboard is divided into two distinct tabs, each serving a unique purpose:

New User Counts by Project: Explore the number of new users attracted by each project on the APTOS blockchain. Visualize their growth trajectories and identify trends.

Project-Specific New User Analysis: In this section, we introduce an interactive input parameter called 'Custom_Project'. By entering the name of a specific project, access detailed information about the new users associated with that project. This feature allows for in-depth analysis and project-specific insights during 2023.

    🚨 Important Point

In our dashboard, we implement a nuanced approach, focusing on genuine project engagement rather than merely tracking all initial transactions involving APTOS addresses. We do not consider users' first transactions with the addresses of centralized exchanges as indicative of their involvement with APTOS projects. Here's why:

    Centralized Exchange Transactions:

    • Users often use centralized exchanges as intermediaries for asset transfers, conversions, and trading activities. These transactions involve movement of assets between users' external wallets and the exchange platform. Interaction with APTOS Projects:

    • True project engagement occurs when users interact directly with APTOS-based applications, services, or decentralized projects. Such interactions may include participating in DeFi protocols, NFT marketplaces, staking, voting, or any other meaningful engagement with APTOS projects. Transfer of Assets:

    • Users may move assets acquired through APTOS projects to or from centralized exchanges for various reasons, such as trading or liquidity management. These transactions may appear as interactions with APTOS addresses but do not necessarily reflect active participation in the APTOS ecosystem.

By excluding centralized exchange transactions from our definition of new users for APTOS projects, we ensure that the data presented accurately represents genuine user engagement within the APTOS blockchain community. This approach allows you to focus on meaningful insights into the growth and success of APTOS projects, rather than including transactions primarily related to asset management and trading on centralized platforms.
