Yet Another Acme Question - Terra Bounty

Q184. Refer to submissions for #175 - your own, or those of others. Pick your favorite Terra metric or visualization and recreate your own version. Your SQL can be similar or even identical to the original, but you should put your own narrative and explanation. Why is this metric/visualization your favorite? If you improved it, what changes did you make?

    Introduction

In order to provide the audience a clear picture of what is happening, it is vital to incorporate all metrics and visualizations. A scorecard or percentage change at the bottom of the screen, followed by a performance plot of past data, are common features of many of my favorite sites. UST is Terra's most widely used algorithmic stablecoin.

    What are looking at here?

In the current study, we used the database in flipsides server to investigate and explain three measures, which we found to be useful.

    1. Circulating LUNA & UST Supply
    2. UST Peg Variance
    3. number of Unique users & # of Tx
Reporting on Terra's Circulating LUNA & UST Supply growth and momentum over the last year with other two notified above metrics are the goal of this research. line graphs will be used to examine notified metrics.

    Analysis

    • A growing number of wallets & tx are being added to the network, which all display the same trends when seen in context with one another. Both of these metrics have a strong correlation, but they both reveal different aspects of the network.

    • Count of Unique users & tx per day provides a broad picture of the ecosystem's transaction volume (measured in number), the number of active addresses can be used to determine whether or not people are actively using the network.
    • The supply of UST had been rising steadily until March 25th, when it dropped and then began to rise again. This time period saw a significant increase in the price of LUNA.

In next graph, I like to look at the UST Peg Variance chart over all time.

When the UST variance is less than 0.98, a bright green candle appears in the LUNA chart, but when it is greater than 1.05, a large red candle appears. A larger red candle appears if the UST variance is greater than 1.01.
