Most Successful Punk traders are defined as those address that yields the highest nett profit (ETH) in buying and selling their Crypto Punks NFT.
That is:
**Total ETH generated from Sales - Total ETH Spent in Purchase = Nett Profit.**
The below Table shows the Ranking of the Most Profitable CryptoPunks Traders.
Highest Nett Profit is 15,285 ETH and the Lowest Profit is 3874 ETH
The most Number of Punks sales among the Top 10 is 355 Punks, and the lowest is 2 Punks
The number of Trader with Realized Profit is lower than Traders with Unrealized Profit overall.
Note that Profit here is defined in the terms of ETH, that is we are valuing ETH more than the Punks NFT. Therefore, users that has been accumulating Punks NFT may appear to be in Realized Loss as they hasn’t old yet, by this definition.
When looking at yearly trend, the number Punk Traders with Realized Loss is higher than Realized Profit

project_name = ‘cryptopunks’ to get cryptopunks NFT data
and currency =’ETH’ to acquire transaction sales paid in ETH
- Next , we collect data on how much ETH is spent in purchasing Cryptopunks NFT
- The next step is to collect data how much cryptopunks sales made and identify the seller address
- Finally, apply inner join function,
on buyer address and seller address as common denominator
