This dashboard presents a visual analysis of the distribution of swaps made on Thorchain. The distribution of swaps was calculated based on binning the usd value of swaps from Flipside's Thorchain.swaps table. The distributions were calculated both for all swaps pooled together, and seperately by blockchain.

Swap size distribution across all pools and blockchains

Considering swaps made across all blockchains and pools, just over half of all swaps had a USD value below $1,000. The remainder of swaps mostly have a value between $1,000 and $5,000 with incrementally fewer trades occuring at values over $10,000.

We can also disaggregate the swap size distribution by the block chain they occur on. The visual below illustrates the distribution (in percentage terms) of swaps made on each blockchain.

Two key findings are that:

• Most swaps on the BNB, LTC and BCH blockchains fall into lower value bins ($5,000 and under).
• In contrast,the BTC and ETH blockchains have a significant percentage of swaps occuring at higher values of over $5,000.
