Aave and stAave Movements on Ethereum Mainnet

Continuing with the set of easy questions for our newbie users, we are now asking for creating visualizations depicting the daily, weekly and/or monthly movements of AAVE tokens on the Aave protocol specifically occurring on the Ethereum Mainnet, including both supply and withdrawal activities, as well as the daily staking and unstaking of AAVE tokens.

    What Is AAVE?

    • Aave was previously known as ETHLend when it was founded in November 2017 by Stani Kulechov and has successfully raised $16.2 million through an ICO round. ETHLend was then rebranded to Aave in September 2018.

    • Its native token, Aave (AAVE), was launched in October 2020 as one of Aave’s initiatives to become self-governed. Following the token’s launch, a 1:100 token migration must be made from the old token.

    • At the moment, Aave has integrated, partnered, and collaborated with 30 companies, notably Curve, 1inch, and Synthetix [Link].

    Methodology

    • This dashboard will investigate the Aave token on the Ethereum network to illustrate the performance of this token on this network and the Aave protocol specifically in the area of Deposit/Withdrawal and Stake/Unstake.

    • Summary

    • It seems that Deposit is the most popular action as this action has the highest number of Transactions, Users and Volume.

    • Also, it seems that most users tended to staking their Aave as the Stake action has the most transactions and users, while the Unstake action has the highest volume and appears to be users who Unstake, they Withdrew a large amount of token.

    • In general, the trend of weekly Transactions and Users in both areas (Deposit/Withdraw and Stake/Unstake) is downwards and illustrates that users do not like to be active during this time.
