EVM - 23. Avalanche Bridges
Create a multi-tab dashboard that illustrates the inflows and outflows of Avalanche by bridges and have it be parameterized by a start and end date. Have the first tab looking at the USD inflows and outflows by bridge and the number of users using each bridge. Have an additional tab for each bridge breaking out the inflows and outflows by asset.

What is Allbridge?
- Allbridge is a simple, modern, and reliable way to transfer assets between different networks. It is a bridge between both EVM (Like Ethereum, Polygon, BSC) and non-EVM compatible (like Solana, Terra) blockchains, that aims to cover L2 (like Arbitrum, Optimism) solutions and NFT transfers in the future. Allbridge’s mission is to make the blockchain world borderless and provide a tool to freely move assets between different networks [https://docs.allbridge.io/].
What Is Wormhole?
- Wormhole is a decentralized, universal message-passing protocol that connects to multiple blockchains. In simple terms Wormhole allows different blockchains like Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Terra, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche and Oasis to communicate with each other. It addresses two of the main problems that plague blockchains today:
- Tokens are hard to move between blockchains without relying on centralized exchanges for bridging and swapping tokens. However, this means users are subject to counterparty risk.
- Decentralized applications (DApps) and smart contracts on different blockchains cannot communicate with each other, making interoperability between chains difficult to achieve.
- Wormhole solves this by monitoring several chains for messages emitted by smart contracts on those chains. This is achieved through the Wormhole Core Layer, a core contract deployed on each chain that routs the received messages to the target chain, the core function of the previously mentioned universal message-passing protocol. A guardian network consisting of 19 nodes secures Wormhole.
- This system enables cross-chain communication protocols like token and NFT bridges, cross-chain oracles and other messaging applications that would not operate without Wormhole's infrastructure [https://coinmarketcap.com/alexandria/article/what-is-wormhole].

What is Avalanche Bridge?
-
Avalanche Bridge is a tool that enables users to transfer assets between Avalanche and other blockchain networks. Avalanche Bridge allows users to transfer assets such as cryptocurrencies and tokens between Avalanche and other blockchains, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, and Fantom.
-
Avalanche Bridge uses a decentralized and trustless system to facilitate asset transfers, which means that users do not need to rely on centralized intermediaries or exchanges to move their assets. Instead, the bridge uses a network of validators to ensure the security and integrity of the transfer process.
-
To use Avalanche Bridge, users need to connect their Avalanche wallet to the bridge and follow the instructions for transferring assets. The bridge uses a series of smart contracts and cross-chain communication protocols to ensure that the transfer is completed securely and efficiently.
-
Overall, Avalanche Bridge is an important tool for users who want to move assets between different blockchain networks and take advantage of the benefits of the Avalanche ecosystem. However, it's important to note that there are risks associated with any type of blockchain transfer, and users should always do their own research and understand the risks before using any decentralized application or tool [https://bitkan.com/learn/what-is-avalanche-bridge-how-to-bridge-polygon-to-avalanche-13867].
