Sanctum - The Stability Protocol of Solana

Sanctum is a novel stability protocol for Solana DeFi, tackling liquidity and volatility issues. This involves unlocking staked SOL to enhance DeFi liquidity and providing a secure SOL reserve for activities like flash loans, safeguarding the system's stability. This dual approach optimizes staked SOL and ensures smooth DeFi operations on Solana.

Sanctum is the next generation stability protocol for Solana DeFi.

Sanctum’s instant unstake provides a way to instantly unstake your SOL.

Let's say you had staked your SOL to a validator but you realized that you need the SOL now. In order for you to reclaim the staked SOL, you need to first deactivate your stake account and then wait until the next epoch comes. This can take up to 3 days!

Sanctum’s instant unstake solves this problem. With Sanctum, you can "exchange" your Solana native stake account to liquid SOL instantly.

With our latest updates, you can now also swap your liquid staking tokens (“LSTs”) to liquid SOL as well, often with deeper liquidity than can be found on DEX-es.

You can also swap your LST to another LST in one click, allowing you to shift your stake from one stake provider to another.

You can also directly swap your SOL to a LST, staking your SOL instantly Link.

    Methodology and Summary

    Summary

Over the course of the past three months, the Sanctum protocol has undergone a dynamic series of transactions and activities across its various sectors. Notably, in the Unstake sector, there have been approximately 2.6K transactions, resulting in the release of about 89K SOL by approximately 330 users. On average, each transaction involves unstaking around 9 SOL. Daily engagement remains consistent, with an average of over 8 users participating, leading to an average of around 68 daily transactions. The platform experienced a surge in activity on August 16th, recording nearly 590 daily transactions, and on August 20th, it reached its peak user engagement of around 70 users. The highest volume of unstaked SOL, totaling roughly 23.5K SOL, was observed on August 22nd, highlighting distinct periods of heightened platform activity.

In the context of the Sanctum Reverse Pool sector, approximately 3.4K transactions have been conducted, involving around 71.3K SOL or 1.6M USD held by approximately 515 users. The daily engagement averages over 6 users, contributing to an average of around 43 transactions per day. Similar to the Unstake sector, August 16th marked a significant spike in activity with around 590 daily transactions, and on August 20th, user engagement peaked at about 90 users. The highest volume of transactions, equating to roughly 13.6K SOL or 342K USD, was recorded on July 27th, underlining notable instances of increased usage.

Within the Router sector of the Sanctum Platform, the "Instant Stake" type stands out as the most favored among users. This type has accumulated the highest number of transactions, users, and volume, totaling approximately 65 transactions, 35 users, and 12.4K SOL or 304K USD. A notable surge in activity occurred on July 5th, with Instant Stake accounting for the majority of transactions. Peak user engagement was observed on July 18th, with both Instant Stake and another type having equal user counts. The most substantial daily volume, approximately 10.8K SOL, was observed on August 14th, attributed predominantly to Instant Stake transactions. This pronounced activity spike signifies the popularity of Instant Stake among users.

In conclusion, the investigation into the Sanctum Platform's Router sector highlights the prominence of the "Instant Stake" type, which leads in transactions, user engagement, and volume. This type significantly contributed to the platform's highest daily transactions, peak user count, and maximal transaction volume on specific dates. The evident preference for Instant Stake underscores its substantial role within the platform, reflecting its appeal and significance to users.

    Methodology

In the scope of this analysis, the present dashboard delves into an in-depth exploration of the Sanctum decentralized application (dApp) on the Solana network over the past three months. The primary objective is to provide an illustrative overview of the platform's performance during this specific timeframe.

The dashboard is organized into four distinct tabs, each serving a unique purpose. The initial tab serves as an introduction to the Sanctum dApp, shedding light on its core functionalities, features, and overarching purpose within the Solana ecosystem. Moving to the second tab, a comprehensive presentation of unstake data pertaining to the Sanctum platform is provided, offering insights into the dynamics of asset unstaking within the platform.

Transitioning to the third tab, an intricate analysis unfolds, focusing on the performance metrics of the Reverse pool component within the Sanctum ecosystem. This section delves into key indicators and trends associated with the Reverse pool, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of its behavior over the specified three-month period.

The final segment of the dashboard, found within the fourth tab, casts a spotlight on the performance of the Router component within the Sanctum platform throughout the aforementioned time frame. By dissecting and presenting relevant performance metrics, this section enables a clear comprehension of how the Router function has evolved and contributed to the overall performance of the Sanctum dApp.

It's noteworthy that in the process of analyzing both the Unstake and Reverse pool components, a supplementary dashboard from Panda's repository (accessible at https://flipsidecrypto.xyz/panda/sanctum-unstaking-assets-in-seconds-3GWDfI) has been utilized. This auxiliary resource has proven to be invaluable in augmenting the analysis by furnishing additional insights and data points that enhance the overall depth of understanding regarding these specific aspects of the Sanctum platform.

As a result, this comprehensive dashboard serves as a reliable source of information for stakeholders, enthusiasts, and researchers seeking to explore the performance nuances and trends exhibited by the Sanctum dApp on the Solana network over the span of the last three months.
