    INTRODUCTION

    Avalanche is a layer 1 blockchain focusing on blockchain networks and dApps.

    USDC is a stablecoin cryptocurrency that is always valued at 1$.

    There are 4 actions that we will review below:

    Swap - is the process of converting one token to another.

    Transfer - is the movement of crypto tokens from one wallet to another.

    Mint - is the process of creating new coins of a currency by creating blocks. (~ printing money)

    Burn - is the process of destroying coins and removing them from the total supply.

    METHODOLOGY

    In this dashboard we will first focus on swaps vs transfers and then on mints vs burns.

    Swaps vs Transfers

    Above we see that swaps have 108k users, 1.36M transactions and 40.8B total volume.

    Transfers have 114k users. 1M transactions and 31.7B total volume.

    We also see the percentage distribution of the metrics and also the hourly change from July 1.

    Above we see the daily change of users, transactions and swaps. The cumulative number of transactions and volume and the average volume and transaction.

    Daily volume of swaps is at ~30M now well below the +500M of the summer and transfers are at +80M now and surpassed swaps after October. Swaps cumulative volume is at 40B while transfers are at 31B.

    Above we see number of transactions the volume and the % wise share across mints and burn.

    Mint has total volume at 1.2B 1461 transactions and burn has 1.7B and 4248 transactions.

    CONCLUSION

    Part 1

    • Swaps have 40B in total volume and transfers have 31B.
    • Swaps have more total users transactions and volume than transfers.
    • The daily change of users and transactions are generally stable while stable while the volume is way lower now than on the summer.
    • Transfer volume is higher now than swaps.

    Part 2

    • Mint has 1.2B total volume while burn has 1.78B.
    • Mint has 4.2k transactions while burn has 1.4k.
    • The daily number of transactions and volume are pretty stable with a few spikes.
