In this bounty i will analyze Overtime Markets Data on Optimism from the last 2 weeks.
Overtime markets is a marketplace where you can bet on many different sport events. here
Sections:
- Which games received most activity in 2 metrics (Users - $ Volume).
- Which Sports received the most bets daily in $ volume

On the left we have the top 10 game bets (HOME-AWAY) by $ volume and by number of users.
Leon Edwards vs Kamaru Usman (AWAY) is the first game with $10.5k.
As an MMA fan i can say that users who bet for Usman lost their $10.5k in the last minute of the game.
In the number 2 and 3 is the game Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees AWAY and HOME respectively.
Buffalo Bills vs Indianapolis is also in the to 10 with $5.6k for AWAY and $5.4k for HOME.
The fact that in the 2 games above bets are close to both game output indicates that they are very close.
While the other games are more favorite to one team.
Here we see that Baltimore Orioles vs Boston Red sox is in the first place with 27 users betting for HOME and 26 users betting for AWAY.
The other 8 games are all soccer games in Europe with the 10th one being Brentford FC vs Manchester United (AWAY) with 16 users .
Here we see that almost every day MLB Baseball has the most volume with August 14 being the highest day with $37k.
Second is EPL Soccer with it’s best day 14 August with $21k volume.
For European soccer we see a pattern that they have volume on the weekends when the games are played.
Since i had the query ready i added the number of users and bets made daily.
Here we see that daily users range from 26 up to 128 and the number of bets is between 44-194.
We see that on August 22 there are 1.2 bets per user and on August 13 there are 1.83 bets per user indicating that many users usually bet more than once.
