INTRODUCTION

Solana as a layer 1 blockchain offers high scalability with minimal fees and minimal waiting times. This makes it perfect for projects that want to scale to millions of Users. The Sports industry has been growing non stop in the last 10 years, being a multi-billion $ industry makes it a perfect candidate for NFTs especially if you consider most users own collectibles of their favorite teams / athletes.

Sales Volume.

On the four charts above we see the Sales Volume data (Total-Daily-Weekly-Monthly) for each project.

The Suites have the highest volume with 115.4k SOL . STEPN is second with 5.7k SOL and in the last place is Sports Rewind with 5.28 SOL.

Most of the action happened between mid January until end of April

with Jan 17 being the day with the highest volume with 51k SOL total.

January was the highest selling month with 68k SOL.

The 7 day volume moving avg is a smoothed version of the daily chart that is less sensitive to upticks

The Suites is the clear winner in Sales volume!

Sales / Buyers.

The Suites have the most buyers with 3970 total, Hockey Heroes being second with only 471.

On the avg daily chart we see that there was a sharp decline after Jan 17 - except a small uptick on Feb 15 - that goes on to this day.

On sales data we see that The Suites have 7351 total Sales, Hockey Heroes is second with 1748 sales.

On the daily chart we see the highest on Jan 17 had 2198 sales on The Suites.

Daily Sales have declines from less than 60 on February to less than 10 these days .

Here we will compare sports NFTs on Solana based on the following metrics: -Sales Vol (Total - Daily - Weekly - Monthly) -7-day vol moving avg -Total Unique buyers -Avg Buyers/Day

More Specifically we’ll compare the following NFTs: Collectorz Club: The Collectorz, The Suites, the suites token, Laidback Lions, Sports Rewind, stepn - run to earn, Hockey Heroes.

DATA SOURCES:

Data were taken from Flipside’s ==Solana.Core== tables.

CONCLUSION

On the NFTs compared above the UNDISPUTED WINNER is The Suites.
The Suites had the highest volume of 115k SOL.
January was the highest month for all of the above NFTs with ~68k SOL.
There is a sharp decline on all metrics on all projects from the levels of Jan-Feb to extremely lows the last couple of months.
