The Battle of the Solana NFT Aggregator
Create a dashboard comparing KPIs between Hyperspace and Coral Cube. Which marketplace has done more volume? Which collections are popular on each marketplace? Why would I use one marketplace over the other? Are there any noticeable market trends between the marketplaces, especially after Solana marketplaces moved to a 0% creator royalty? INTRODUCTION
Coral Cube and Hyperspace are the two most popular NFT aggregators on Solana. They list NFTs from other platforms along with the listings from their own marketplace.
Coral Cube launched on February 2022 while Hyperspace launched on September 2022. Knowing this we will only present data in the last month and compare them on growth metrics.
METHODOLOGY
In this Dashboard we will compare these two across volume, sales, buyers and top collections metrics.
DATA SOURCES
Data were taken by Flipside’s Solana.core.fact_nft_sales
tables.
We see that Coral Cube had 100k SOL total volume last month while Hyperspace had 64k.
Around 10 Oct. both had the most volume with Coral Cube having them most at 17k and Hyperspace having 9.5k.
After the Oct 15 there is a huge decline on both platforms and Hyperspace has more volume ever since.
Looks like Hyperspace is catching up!
On Coral Cube the first collection by sales is the Great Goats with 3k sales and 21k Volume. In the second place is Kings of Da with 2.5k sales and 14k volume. In the 10th place is Archaic Degens with 1.1k sales and 385 volume.
On Hyperspace the top collections by sales is DeGods with 1.1k sales and 59k volume. The second one is ABC with 940 sales and 10k volume. In the 10th place is Blockasset Legends - Michael Bisping with 26 sales and 195 volume.
The 10th one on Coral Cube has the same sales with the 1st one on Hyperspace.
The first 2 on Hypespace have big volume comapred with their sales and the ones won Coral Cube.
We see that there are 63k collections on Coral Cube while 9.2k collections on Hyperspace.

Coral Cube had more Volume than Hyperspace but not by much.

Volume and general activity declined a lot on Coral Cube after Oct 10 (after the Solana moved to a 0% creator fee).

This move didn’t affect much Hyperspace metrics.

Avg price er NFT on Coral Cube is 1.2 while on Hyperspace is 6.2.

There are nearly x6 more collections on Coral Cube than on Hyperspace.

Top Collections on Coral Cube have way more sales than these on Hyperspace.

Top 2 collections on Hyperspace have big volumes compared to Coral Cube numbers.

Two Reasons to use Coral Cube is their wider range of collections and their cheaper avg NFT price.

Two Reasons to use Hyperspace is if you want mainstream NFTs like Degods which have more volume than all he ones on Coral Cube or if you want to invest in more luxurious and high end NFTs as avg price x6 higher.
