Using the Tornado Cash blacklisted addresses find out: Which of the Tornado Cash addresses received the most # of transactions in the last month, quarter, year Which addresses received the most transaction volume (worth) in the last month, quarter, year Over all the addresses, group the transactions into buckets by value. Tornado Cash is a mixer which improves privacy by breaking the on-chain link between source and destination addresses.

On 9 August 2022 the US Treasury sanctioned the Tornado Cash accusing it being used in money laundering by illegal activities.

Following that Circle the company behind USDC blacklisted the tornado cash addresses rendering them useless.

Here i will show the # number of transactions, the volume (ETH) and categorize them by volume on each address going back 1 year.

Note: Even though there are many addresses under the tornado cash name only few of them are interacting with the money itself so in the graphs i will keep only the top results.

      The addresses we taken by the crosschain tables.

On the right we see that the total volume on Tornado Cash is more than 3.5M ETH.

Although approximately half of that was made on last year! while Tornado was available from 2017.

We see that the volume was increased a lot in the year with the most hacks!

The number of transactions in the last year were ~80k,

so we find that more than 18 ETH were moved on each transaction on average in he last year.

Above we see that 83.2% of the total volume were transactions worth more 100 ETH! while only having 16.5% of the total number of transactions.

And 14.8% of the volume were transactions with 10-100ETH while having 29.3% of the total amount of transactions.

We see that the range 1-10ETH had the most transactions with 35.3% but only 1.92% of the total volume!

We can also see that there are no transactions worth more than 200ETH, so even though it is known that large hacks like the one on Axie Infinity used Tornado Cash we can assume that they split their holdings into smaller amounts.
