Goal

This dashboard tries to compare the daily transaction volume of DAI to other stablecoins. Then, we would like to determine what DAI is most often used for.

As shown in the above chart, the daily transaction volume of DAI is progressively growing during the time period analyzed, and there is a huge amount of DAI volume in May 2022. When analyzing the cumulative transaction volume of DAI through time, we noticed that the chart is continuously rising, suggesting that DAI will have an increase in transaction volume in the near future.

As seen in the two preceding graphs, we determined that DAI is most often used for chain administration. DAI has the second-most Defi use. In addition, DEX and CEX, respectively, have the third- and fourth-most used DAI. Lastly, we discovered that DAI for Layer2 and Flotsam is used infrequently.

As indicated in the previous graph, compared to other stablecoins, the daily transaction volume of DAI has been the lowest over the time period under consideration. This result indicates that users are more likely to utilize other stablecoins than DAI, hence MakerDAO may consider launching a campaign to promote the usage of DAI.

• Daily transaction volume of DAI is progressively growing over the past 3 months
• DAI is most often used for chain administration. DAI has the second-most Defi use.
