Objective

Raydium is a Solana-based automated market maker (AMM) that provides liquidity with the Serum decentralized exchange. The purpose of this visualization is to compare the number of swaps and unique wallets on Rayidum, Jupiter, and Orca since January 1st. Then, within that time period, we attempt to identify the top ten most popular tokens to swap and swap for on Raydium. Finally, we explore popular tokens over time.

Analysis I:

This analysis compares the number of swaps on Rayidum, Jupiter, and Orca since January 1st, 2022. We compute the number of swaps on these three protocols by looking at the solana.fact_swaps table.

As seen in the above chart, the charts for the number of swaps for the three protocols steadily decline from January 1st to March 13th, and then reverse to an uptrend. Additionally, we discovered that the number of Jupiter and Raydium swaps is the dominant pattern across the time period investigated.

Analysis II:

Since January 1, 2022, this report analyzes the number of unique wallets on Rayidum, Jupiter, and Orca. By inspecting the solana.fact swaps table, we can determine the number of unique wallets for these three protocols.

According to the aforementioned findings, the number of unique wallets on Rayidum, Jupiter, and Orca appears to have fructified and increased significantly since Mar 14th. Additionally, when adoption rates are compared, Rayidum are the most popular during the time period analyzed.

Analysis III:

This final section attempts to identify the top ten most popular tokens to swap and swap for on Raydium.

As we can see from the two most recent findings, the most popular token for swap to and swap for is the USDC token. Wrapped sol is the second most popular token among the two swap directions.
