Analysis of swaps in Hashflow

    What is Hashflow?

Hashflow is a decentralized exchange designed for interoperability, zero slippage, and MEV-protected trades. Hashflow is currently available on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

Hashflow’s RFQ model for price discovery are unique differentiators in the DEX landscape, and allow for a seamless trading experience. With an expanding product, growing ecosystem, and strong backing, Hashflow is well-positioned and committed to continue offering the best trading experience in DeFi.

    Purposes of Dashboard

In this dashboard, we want to address one of Omar's tweets about the Hashflow platform.

This dashboard consists of 3 parts. Implementing unique and innovative features can set a DEX apart from its competitors. Hashflow uses a hybrid on-chain / off-chain RFQ (Request for Quote) engine to fetch off-chain quotes from market makers who manage liquidity in on-chain pools. The RFQ model allows you to request a price quote for a specific swap directly from PMMs (professional market makers). In contrast, most DEXs use AMMs (automated market makers), which rely on users to provide liquidity and price assets using a predetermined formula. In the first part, we evaluate the performance of the RFQ (Request for Quote) model as one of the unique features of Hashflow. The Hashflow development team believes that the RFQ model can provide more suitable prices to traders compared to AMMs. On the other hand, they believe that the swaps registered in Hashflow are zero slippage swaps. Therefore, first, in this part, we evaluate the slippage status of swaps in Hashflow, then we compare the slippage values in Hashflow with other DEXes that use the AMMs mechanism. To get more accurate results, we analyze Ethereum, BSC and Avalanche chains.

After evaluating the RFQ model, in the second part, we will analyze the Hashflow intra-chain swaps (The term "intra-chain swaps" refers to the process of exchanging or swapping one cryptocurrency or token for another within the same blockchain network. Unlike cross-chain swaps, which involve trading assets between different blockchain networks, intra-chain swaps occur entirely within the boundaries of a single blockchain ecosystem.). In general, this DEX supports 6 Ethereum chains, BSC, Avalanche, Polygon, Arbitrum and Optimism. Therefore, in the second part, we compare the swaps registered in each of these chains. In this part, after comparing the volume and number of swaps, the performance of traders on this platform is also evaluated.

But as a fan of the Avalanche chain, we analyzed the performance of the Hashflow platform on this chain in more detail in the third part. I hope you enjoy reading this dashboard.
