Background
NEAR Protocol is well-known for its ecosystem, which provides the most suitable environment for building decentralized applications. Using this protocol, developers can host serverless apps and smart contracts for connecting to open-finance networks and benefit from an ecosystem of reusable smart contracts. Smart contracts are simple programs that live in a blockchain. As with any modern application, smart contracts store data and expose methods to interact with them. They are written in human-readable languages, then compiled and deployed to the blockchain. Once deployed, any user (including other contracts) can interact with them.
Scope of Analysis
- This dashboard takes a div into:
- Contracts deployed over time on NEAR
- The factors that affect the number of contracts (financial)
-
Note: To make the dashboard, I made the first part myself, and for the second part, I used this dashboard:

In the yellow graph, you can see the daily changes in the number of contracts deployed in NEAR. The blue line in this chart shows the average number of contracts on a daily basis. As you can see, on some days the number of contracts is higher than this line, and on some days it is lower than the average. The black line shows the cumulative values of these contracts over time. The graph on the right shows the daily changes according to the average. On the days when the number of contracts was less than the average, it is displayed in red color, and on the days when the number of contracts was more than the average, it is displayed in green color.
The third chart shows the monthly changes in the number of contracts in NEAR. The blue line shows the average changes, and the black line shows the cumulative values of contracts. The total of new contracts deployed in NEAR is 6.67K contracts in 2022.
the average daily contracts in this period is 25 contracts And the average monthly contract is 741 contracts

The number of contracts can be affected by the price of NEAR. As we saw in the chart of daily changes in contracts, the largest number of contracts in 2022 is between January 16 and 20. And according to the NEAR price chart, it can be seen that the highest NEAR price in 2022 was on January 15, 16, and 17. Also, in the middle of April, the number of contracts increased, and the price of NEAR was high during this period.
If you look at the chart of TVL and Collateral Utilization Ratio, you will notice that the trend of this chart is almost similar to the trend of the chart of daily changes in the number of contracts. So it can be said that one of the factors that can affect the number of contracts is TVL and Collateral Utilization Ratio.
Also, the NFT buying and selling chart is somewhat correlated with the chart of the number of daily contracts, so this factor can also affect the number of contracts.
You can compare other charts with the chart of daily changes in the number of contracts and compare their trends in different intervals.
Conclusion
The analysis of the dashboard showed that the total number of contracts in the specified period for this dashboard is 6.67 thousand contracts. It was also found that the average number of daily contracts is 25 contracts, and the average number of monthly contracts is 741 contracts.
Also, from the beginning of January to March 11, the number of daily contracts was higher than the daily average. From April 10 to May 7, the number of contracts was higher than the daily average. And in general, the largest number of contracts were in these intervals.
We also showed that many things could affect the contracts, which according to the charts, the price, TVL, and Collateral Utilization Ratio, as well as the purchase and sale of NFT, probably have direct effects on the number of contracts.
