    Evaluation

    Summary

What we can see is that post May this year, there has been a drop in unique signers and the trend has not changed in the last 30 days. With regards to TPS what we can see is that in terms of failed transactions, there was a significant decrease around April, but this value has increased again over time to what it was before, more or less. What is good to see is that successful transactions are increasing and overall transactions per second that the network can handle have increased with time.

    Limitations & Discussion

It seems that the Solana transactions table is quite choppy and any 365 Days the prior analysis is infeasible as the query times out. I am not sure if this is due to the sheer number of data that we’re churning through when doing aggregates for 365 days on the transaction table or an engineering challenge. Regardless, it sucks that we cannot look at historical data that far back.
