    New Addresses

Let's first look at the number of unique addresses over time and how this also compares to the transaction count over time.

NOTE: I've made sure to exclude the incomplete data (daily - last day, weekly -last week)

NOTE: Polygon transactions table seems to be missing some data points, so the results are not fully complete. (May 1st is missing some data)

    Daily

We can see that there's an increase in the number of unique addresses per transaction over time. This is excellent news in terms of growth and (potentially) retention of growth. In other words what we can see here is that even in a bear market the number of unique addresses interacting with the Polygon POS chain daily has been increasing, with only very recently seeing a slowdown.

When cutting through the noise (daily), we can see that on the weekly timeframe there are still quite a lot of new users and that on average the trend is still up even in a bear market.
