Total Metamask Wallet Holders

We are capturing about ~6.04% of the actual users that use metamask when looking at the unique wallets that interacted with the swap contract address on Ethereum. Obviously there's probably an address on Polygon, Avalanche and other networks that we could include, but our focus in this investigation will be on Ethereum.

NOTE

The following statistics come from the flipside_prod_db.ethereum.erc20_balances which does not always have all of the wallets in existence back filled for every day, in this case, I tried to look at 1 day ago, but this captures about ~ 90% of the unique wallets mentioned above. More specifically it captures...

~91.6% of the unique wallets found from the fact_event_longs or logs table that interacted with the contract address to swap as presented earlier. Now given this assumption we can calculate these approximate statistics.

From the wallets that have interacted with the swap contract, we can see that each one of them, on average has about 0.915 ETH, which is a significant amount and probably is boosted due to whale activity.

Bellow, we can see all the spikes caused by users using the swap function, on Ethereum, using Metamask. There is a massive spike in both unique active users and the number of transactions probably attributed to rumours of a Metamask token airdrop, which still has not come past.

That is a lot of ETH! That's about ~7.8% of overall staked ETH, that is in circulating supply by Metamask wallet users.
