Method

All the required data is obtained from the transaction table for all five chains.

For comparing the performance of NEAR chain three parameters over the past six months, for four other chains calculated. so NEAR performance easily could compare with other chains.

parameters are average TPM for successful and failed transactions on each day , weekly percentage of failed transactions and percentage of failed transactions over past six months.

According to the charts above, on the days when the number of transactions increases. TPM is also increased for failed transactions. Which is a weakness for the NEAR chain. Another thing that the first graph shows is that the maximum TPM for successful transactions is 761 in the last 6 months.

Conclusions:

Order of chains from best to the worst base on percentage of failed transactions over past 6 months are:

1. Ethereum 3.57 %

2. Polygon 5.9 %

3. Flow 11.6 %

4. NEAR 16.4 %

5. Solana 28.2 %

   Order of chains from best to the worst base on maximum of average TPM on days for successful transactions over past 6 months are:

   • Ethereum 0.91 k
   • NEAR 0.71 k

In nut shell NEAR performance base on our parameters are not in top three among those five chain.
