Before we dive into this dashboard, I wish to let readers know that I deviated a little from what the bounty expected. The bounty asked for premium comparisons between Aave v2 and v3, however, I did v1 and v2 instead due to technical limitations. I still went on to do it because it felt interesting.

First and foremost, what are Aave premiums? Premiums are the amount of money Aave charges users to use their flashloan offering. Currently, Aave charges a 0.09% premium on flashloans, which might look small but with million being borrowed in loans, Aave is definitely making bank. Let’s look at some figures on Aave premiums so far…

    Key Facts

    • $13m+ has been collected in premiums so far
    • The max premium paid so far is $1.9m
    • Average premium paid is 263
    • Aave v2 is responsible for 72.9% of premiums
    • Aave v2 is eating off Aave v1’s premiums

Generally v2 has collected more fees in premiums than v1 and the most amounts in premium paid has come from v2.
