Introduction
Osmosis is a decentralized appchain sitting at the center of the Comos, an interconnection of blockchains. When chains are created within the Comos together with their associated tokens, they need liquidity or a marketplace where interest parties could get exposure, and Osmosis does just that. During the week of November 6, 2022 to November 12, 2022, rumors claimed that FTX, one of the largest centralized exchanges was insolvent. This resulted in a bank run, where users rushed to pull out funds from the exchange before it was too late. If funds were to come to the Cosmos, it will definitely flow through Osmosis, so we analyses the inflow of funds and users tx withing the week of FTX collapse.
We can see that for the week marked as November 7 on the chart above, there were more transactions but less users were involved signaling a higher transaction count/wallet ration. Meaning users were doing more IBC INCOMING transfers on the particular week.
