In this dashboard, we tried to analyze reddit collectible avatars. we fount out that these NFT collection series are unique in many ways and also record-breaking in NFT world:

• The number of NFTs: 2.95 Million NFTs have been minted so far in 60 collections.

• The number of minters: 2.86M minters have minted NFTs.

• New blockchain users: 99.8% of minter are new to blockchain and hadn’t done any activity on blockchain before the mint.

• Holding: Most minters are holding their NFTs.

• NFT sales: On October 24th, the sales volume reached more than 4,000 ETH, A record in the market in these days of the bear market.

Collectible Avatars

Collectible Avatars are limited-edition avatars from Reddit that provide owners with unique benefits on the Reddit platform. This Creator Collection was made by independent creators in partnership with Reddit. When you purchase a Collectible Avatar, you become the owner of it. This means you can keep it, trade it, sell it, or use it on Reddit as your avatar. 

Collectible Avatars also enable you to unlock additional features on Reddit. If you set your Collectible Avatar as your avatar on Reddit, you can mix-and-match the avatar gear with other Reddit avatar gear and accessories, and you’ll get a special profile treatment and special comment treatment on posts, which makes your avatar really stand out.

Otherside metaverse

Connected to the Bored Ape Yacht Club ecosystem, the Otherside Metaverse is a massive virtual world that has been developed as an online multiplayer game. Built by Yuga Labs, this Metaverse offers an immersive MMORPG gaming experience for users.

Your Otherdeed enables you to claim a plot of land when Otherside launches. There will be a total of 200,000 Otherdeeds. The first 100,000 Otherdeeds are available on April 30, 2022.

Mutant Ape Yacht Club

The Mutant Ape Yacht Club came as a collection of 20,000 Mutant Ape-themed NFTs, created on August 28, 2021. As the second-ever expansion made to the Bored Apes ecosystem, MAYC was created to onboard more collectors into the BAYC ecosystem

Bored Ape Yacht Club

Bored Ape Yacht Club, often colloquially called Bored Apes or Bored Ape, is a non-fungible token collection built on the Ethereum blockchain. The collection features profile pictures of cartoon apes that are procedurally generated by an algorithm. The parent company of Bored Ape Yacht Club is Yuga Labs.

Introduction

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique digital identifier that cannot be copied, substituted, or subdivided, that is recorded in a blockchain, and that is used to certify authenticity and ownership.

Reddit’s CryptoSnoos NFTs are digital, limited-edition collectibles based on the social platform’s mascot, Snoo. They’re designed by independent artists and Reddit creators from popular creative communities like r/Comics that users can buy with fiat currency, ranging in price from $10 to $100. The avatars give users platform benefits (like unique profile animations) and allow Redditors to use their avatars as they see fit off the platform.

These NFTs emerged from the context and the success of Reddit’s then-recently-updated Avatar Builder, which the platform launched in 2020. Users could use the Avatar Builder to customize their Snoo with hairstyles, jackets, jerseys, and other gear, allowing them to personalize their profile picture.

The current Collectible Avatar NFTs are also a conceptual extension of Reddit’s first NFT collection, which it released quietly back in June 2021 as a set of four artistic interpretations of its Snoo avatar. Selling for as high as 175 ETH ($234,000 at the time), their success undoubtedly encouraged the company to continue exploring the potential of the technology.

In this dashboard, we will analyze the reddit collectible avatars collections (60 collections on polygon) and compare these collections to most famous collections of Yoga Labs: BAYC, MAYC, and otherside by their mits, holders and sales.

Findings

• On average, Each minter has minted 1.03 collectible avatar NFT, while on the three collections of Yoga Labs, each minter has minted 2.8 NFT (on average)

• Most minters (BAYC/MAYC/Otherside) have minted more than one NFT (33.9K out of 46.4K minters).

• A small number of collectible avatars minters have minted more than one NFT (23.9K out of 2.86M minters).

• 99.8% of collectible avatars' minters hadn’t done any transactions before the mint, while on those three collections, only 2.66% of wallets hadn’t done any transactions before their mint transaction.

• Most of the old user minters on collectible avatars had minted from the start of the project but after that, most of the minters were new users of blockchain. 

• (collectible avatar). On October 20th and 21st, most mints were from users that had minted before. In these two days, several new collections had minted.

• Most of the collectible avatars minters have minted only one NFT (2.83M minters), while most of BAYC/MAYC/Otherside minters have minted two NFTs (27.24K minters)

• More than 97% of on collectible avatars are from 4 collections.

Findings

• About 99% of holders of collectible avatars hold only one NFT.

• 49.3% of BAYC/MAYC/Otherside holders hold only one NFT, and 41.2% of holders hold 2-5 NFTs.

• Only 6829 wallets that held collectible avatars are not holder anymore, while more than 71,000 wallets that once were a holder of BAYC/MAYC/Otherside are not holder anymore.

Findings

• Daily sales average of collectible avatars are 552 sales per day, while BAYC/MAYC/Otherside’s are 250.

• Daily sales volume of collectible avatars collections reached more than 4,000 ETH on October 24th. More than BAYC/MAYC/Otherside daily sales volume since June 17th.

Methodology

• Contract addresses of collections were extracted manually and added to the code.
• Mint transactions of collectible avatars were extracted from polygon.core.fact_event_logs table by filtering:
  • contract addresses,
  • Event_name: TransferSingle, and
  • From Address (EVENT_INPUTS:"_from"): Null Address
• Mint transactions of BAYC/MAYC/Otherside were extracted from ethereum.core.ez_nft_mints table.
• To find out if a wallet was active before the mint, all transactions from and to that wallet on polygon and Ethereum were checked before the mint for collectible avatars minters. for BAYC/MAYC/Otherside, only transactions made before the mint were checked on Ethereum.
• The holding amount were extracted by summing all NFT transfers for each wallet on polygon for collectible avatars and on Ethereum for BAYC/MAYC/Otherside.
• NFT sale data for BAYC/MAYC/Otherside were extracted from ethereum.core.ez_nft_sales.
• NFT sales data for collectible avatars were extracted from polygon.core.fact_token_transfers by identifying all transfer transactions of NFTs from polygon.core.fact_event_logs
