Squid DEX Usage

    What is Squid?

Squid is a cross-chain decenterlized swap and liquidity routing protocol built on the Axelar Network and it allows for any token to be swapped between blockchains, and unlocks access to apps across chains in a single click. Squid routes all its transactions through axlUSDC/USDC stable swaps pools, and USDC/native token pools. This leveraging minimizes the number of liquidity pools which need to be capitalized to achieve efficient liquidity across every token.

    What is Axelar?

Axelar is a proof-of-stake blockchain network built using the Cosmos SDK. It has its own permissionless set of validators which securely process cross-chain messages through quadratic voting. This offers secure cross-chain communication via Axelar. Cross-chain communication allows builders to create experiences where users can connect their assets to applications without having to think about where their assets live, or where the applications live.

    Introductions

    Approach and Methodology:

This dashboard is made by setting aim to analyse the most popular and utilized DEXs interacting with Squid platform acros 3 of its most predominant chains(Ethereum, Polygon and Arbitrum) To gather the required metrics regarding these DEXs were extracted via joning the "axelar.core.ez_squid" and joining it with the respective DEX tables (_core.dim_labels) across all the three mentioned chains, all of these tables were provided by Flipsidecrypto database and to make these raw extracted data more comprehensible all types of proper charts and graphs were utilized.
