Intro:

The statistics related to the play types and their correlation with volume of sale are analyzed in this dashboard.

Specially this bounty focused on play_type column in the flow.core.dim_topshot_metadata table provided by Flipside community and investigated their volume of sale, number of sale, purchasers and find the play types hold most.

Method:

• Used table-→ flow.core.fact_nft_sales
• Play types-→ play_type from flow.core.dim_topshot_metadata
• Join sale table and metadata with NFT_ID
• NFT collection-→ NFT_COLLECTION='A.0b2a3299cc857e29.TopShot'
• Success of sales-→ TX_SUCCEEDED='TRUE'
• Most hold NFTs (play types)-→ sellers as sellersss, nft, dateDIFF(day,buy_time, sell_time ) as date_

Outcomes:

The outcomes of the play types in NFT sale of NBA top shots are summarized as below:

• The 36.5% of volume of sales presented the Rim play and takes the first rank.
• Also, 3 pointer and assist are the next ranks of volume of sale with 20.7% and 13.9%, respectively.
• The greatest sale volume happened on May 6 and on that date the large of the volume of sale was Rim plays with over 201k volume.
• Over 127k sale times are for Rim play and this is he biggest number of sales by play types on NBA top shots.
• The smallest number of sales is for 2 pointers and only 9 sales are for this type.
• The behavior of unique purchasers has same results and the most popular play according to the percentage of unique purchasers the Rim and 3 pointer are the most purchased plays.
• On May 6th, more than 4000 unique purchasers bought NBA top shots of Rim play type and its the highest number of unique purchasers for play type in single day.
• The most hold NFTs are Handles play NFTs with over 13 days . In the second rank, the NFTs of Dunk/Layup plays stands with over 10 days hold.
