    Who is Solblaze?
The Growth of BlazeStake a Summary of the Events

SolBlaze is an OP member from the Solana community who created the first Solana Mainnet Faucet and is currently the one behind BlazeStake, maintaining, advertising, and reinvesting by itself with the support of the Community.

The activity of SolBlaze through Social Media was one of the key factors in the growth and success of BlazeStake, allowing everyone to connect with Solblaze and ask anything about it.

There is a clear commitment by Solblaze to continue building and improving its projects in the Solana Ecosystem.

BlazeStake launched in May 2022, receiving some attention from the community but without achieving significant growth afterward as the newest staking protocol because it was in a handicap against the ones that appeared during the 2021 Boom.

The path to its glory started when Solana was at their worst in November of the market crash caused by the FTX collapse. At this point, everyone was leaving the blockchain and the staking protocols were absent on social media, however, Solblaze was encouraging the community to believe in Solana and stake their $SOL instead, being one of the few protocols that ended up increasing their $SOL supply and reaching out new people.

Things improved at the end of the year for Solana with the launch of $BONK which made an excellent start for BlazeStake as it offered DeFi products integrating both $bSOL and $BONK, making January the best month in growth for the protocol. But the fever wasn't long enough and in the following months the activity of the protocol decayed.

After turning one year old in May the protocol achieved growth which decayed in June, however, SolBlaze was ready to release $BLZE BlazeStake's governance token and the announcement went live on July 2023. The plan was to airdrop the token to everyone who was engaged with the protocol or the DeFi projects that supported $bSOL with a snapshot being taken at the end of the month. The $SOL supply of the project increased considerably in that month breaking a lot of records in growth which led to more coverage through social media. The Airdrop boosted the activity, and SolBlaze retained it through multiple snapshots and airdrops happening after the first.

But, how is the project doing nowadays? and what will be the future of this staking protocol?
