NFT’s Boomed in last year, the idea of having rights in a digital piece of art and sell your apes for a rich sum of money was the trending topic in 2021, everyone can remember how a lot of NFT’s projects appear, or your favorite streamer/influencer talking about their NFT’s ideas or projects, shows like South Park made fun of the NFT’s:

Most of the NFT’s transactions were made in Opensea, to look at the NFT’s movement in Polygon is pure chaos, mostly because there isn’t one label of NFT, there is a lot but the general concept still remains, NFT’s volume raises at the start of 2022, like everything, a lot of stablecoins were at it’s best at the start of the year, but after all the economics struggles, the volume of transactions starts to go in a downtrend after February.

OPENSEA BIG RED WAVE, ft. minor NFT’s Projects in July

A lot of transactions in Polygon are made in Opensea, and there is a lot of distinct NFT’s projects inside there, but if you can bring your attention to JULY is possible to see a lot of projects riding on the remains of the big wave from Opensea, like Sunflower Land or mad ape, nft champions and a lot of unique projects starting after in the second half of June 2022 onwards.

Although Opensea NFT’s Sales Volume has diminished, a lot of new NFT’s projects starts to sprout in Polygon.

• We can see that the spike of new users is in May 9, this can be related at the Terra/Luna Incident, because on these days there is a lot of activity in all the blockchains, aside from that a lot of new users start their NFT journey in 2022, and they’re still going if we see their numbers in June-July.

NFT users are not going away anytime soon.

Summary

• Polygon NFT’s Popularity Skyrocketed at the start of the year 2022, specifically in January and February, with the higher NFT’s transactions volume.
• Most of the NFT’s transactions were made in Opensea, nowadays in July, their activity is downtrending and a lot of new NFT’s related projects started to appear.
• There a lot of new users starting their NFT journey in this year, and they are not going soon, events of high caliber like the Terra/Luna event “MAY” bring new users.
• Although i don’t have the graphics to support this claiming, users who sold their NFT’s at the start of the year (2022) are the real winners, because in that point the price was at their highest.
