MATIC is an ERC-20 token, meaning that it's compatible with other Ethereum-based digital currencies.
MATIC is used to govern and secure the Polygon network and to pay network transaction fees
Polygon uses a modified proof-of-stake consensus mechanism that enables consensus to be achieved with every block. (Achieving consensus using traditional proof-of-stake requires processing many blocks to achieve consensus.) The proof-of-stake method requires network participants to stake—agree to not trade or sell—their MATIC, in exchange for the right to validate Polygon network transactions. Successful validators in the Polygon network are rewarded with MATIC.

To get this information from the polygon.core.fact_transactions table,
I removed duplicate addresses and transactions using the distinct command
and limited my answers with the date condition.
All this information was also available in polygon.core.fact_event_logs table
Then I joined the addresses I received with the polygon.core.dim_labels table and found the most activities.

The opposite charts show the number of transactions and the number of Unique users from the beginning of July 2022 until today.
Observations show that in this month on July 5, 2022, the number of transactions reached its highest level
It seems that the number of transactions is decreasing from July 5 to today
The number of Unique users has fluctuated slightly since the beginning of the month and it can be said that it has a smooth trend.
On July 11, the highest number of unique users can be seen

The graphs in front of you show the number of Unique users and the number of their transactions and what activities they have had
Observations show that the activity of users is mostly related to hop protocol and nearly 28.9 million transactions have been done in July in hop protocol and users have sent their tokens to layer 2.
The activity of users in hop protocol was close to 93.2%

It seems that in July, the highest number of transactions was on July 5, 2022, with a total of 2.82 million transactions, and after that, the number of transactions gradually decreased.
The number of Unique users has fluctuated slightly since the beginning of the month and it can be said that it has a smooth trend.
On July 11, the highest number of unique users can be seen.
The activity of users in hop protocol was close to 93.2%
Most users have sent their metic to layer 2 in the hop protocol
