Market cap of a cryptocurrency is calculated by multiplying the price of the coin / token and its circulating supply. Market Cap (USD) = Circulating Supply (Coins / Tokens) * Price (USD per Coin / Token) In this project, circulating supply of LUNA was decided to include liquid and staked Luna tokens held in wallet addresses. The justification for the use of liquid and staked Luna as circulating, comes from CoinMarketCap's glossary definition of 'circulating supply' as follow.
