Introduction
What Is NEAR Protocol?
NEAR protocol is an advanced Level 1 blockchain capable of running smart contracts, and is more scalable for the future of decentralized application development.
It provides a platform on which developers can build decentralized applications (dapps). The most successful layer 1 blockchain is Ethereum, so protocols like Near are seen as challengers.
Near Protocol is faster and cheaper than Ethereum. More importantly, it promises to be faster than some of the other largest challengers.
Method
In this dashboard, I identify the top 20 wallets based on the highest NEAR balance.
Whales: People who hold a large amount of one token, which I identified in this dashboard as whales who have more than 20,000,000 NEAR tokens in their wallets.
To get the balance of the wallets, I got the amount of inflow and outflow based on the following metrics
Inflow : Inbound Transfers, Unstakings, and Swaps To
Outflow : TX Fees, Outbound Transfers, Stakings, Swaps From, and NFT Purchases
First, I got the top 20 wallet addresses based on the highest balance, which belong to projects or are unknown, and also their label type, which is CEX or unknown.
Then I got wallets that are unknown and have no label type and their balance is higher than 20,000,000 NEAR tokens,And I analyzed the type of action of these wallets.
More than 58% of NEAR balances are distributed in CEXs and about 41.9% are unknown addresses.

The Behavior of Whales
The opposite chart shows the NEAR balance inflow and outflow of the top 20 wallets.
Analyzing the amount of NEAR inflow and outflow in the top 20 wallets, it shows that most of these wallets have output of at least 50% of the total balance.
About 20% of these wallet addresses have very little NEAR outflow.
The above charts show the type of activity of whales. About 53.4% of the type of activity is inbound transfers and about 44.4% is the type of activity of outbound transfers. staking and swaps is very small.
Among these 20 wallets, simpleguy.near wallet has all the activities.
