    What is Hyperspace Marketplace?

Hyperspace is a trading platform offering Solana NFT and NFT flex information and services. In moving to a more focused NFT trading strategy, Hyperspace has created a new NFT market aggregator integrated into the Solana NFT analytics dashboard of its previous version. This will allow its users to buy NFT from all of Solana's major NFT markets. The review site will also feature an NFT launch pad that will be used to showcase new NFT collections on the Solana blockchain

    What is Coral Cube Marketplace?

Coral Cube is an NFT marketplace and aggregator that aims to highlight three columns of web3 in the context of NFTs: Easy and seamless access to digital content on the Solana blockchain and interactions with NFT marketplaces on the blockchain, Transparency with respect to NFT ownership and credentials. These three elements will ultimately lower the technological and economic barriers for new players to enter competition and minimise the emergence of monopolies

    Methodology

I mainly used solana.core.fact_nft_sales table and filter marketplace to hyperspace or coral cube to extract the result for the related platform.

Moreover, We are going to only consider successful transactions on this platform. (succeeded = 'TRUE').

I also filtered by the date Hyperspace's data started to make the comparison fairer.

    FINDINGS

    data start date '2022-09-22'

    • Amount of coral cube made 120k SOL.
    • Amount of hyperspace made 177k SOL.
    • Total sales of hyperspace 32.7k.
    • Total sales of coral cube 93.5k.
    • Hyperspace's total mint count is 18.4K.
    • Coral Cube's total mint count is 81.4K.
    • The total number of buyers of hyperspace is 12.07k.
    • The total number of buyers of coral cube is 39.89k.
    • Hyperspace's total seller count is 896.
    • Coral Cube's total seller count is 36.98k.

    FINDINGS

When we look at the daily sales chart on the side, we first see the peak point of the coral cube in the first 2 weeks of October. Coral Cube, which normally has roughly the same sales figures since the beginning of Hyperspace, experienced a great rise in October. Then, on October 16, its sales fell again and reached the same levels as Hyperspace.

    FINDINGS

When we look at the daily mint numbers, as expected, the values of the coral cube are high again in mid-October and reached its peak with 9602 mints on October 11. Meanwhile, hyperspace's mint numbers are quite low and stable.

    FINDINGS

As we have seen in the previous data, coral cube, which experienced its peak on October 11, reached a total of 3665 nft sellers on this date.

Hyper space, on the other hand, achieved its peak on October 9 with 612 sellers.

Coral cube reached its peak in the number of nft buyers on October 11 with 3728 buyers.

    FINDINGS

At the end, we come across a different graph to be interpreted. Coral cube, which normally experienced all its peak points in October, left hyperspace behind in every area. But when we come to the amounts, we see that hyperspace has managed to leave the coral cube well behind. It reached its maximum values in October and experienced its peak on October 7 with 34.7K SOL. Then, the highest amount reached was realized on October 10 with 28.7k SOL. Coral cube, on the other hand, has 3-4 times less amount than hyperspace on these dates.

As seen in the tweets on the side, I think these are the reasons for the increases in October.

    FINDINGS

We showed that hyperspace's amount peaked on October 7 and October 10. It is normal for the average SOL amount to be high on these dates. But there is another detail that is different in this chart. This is the fact that the average amounts of hyperspace are still high, although the amounts have decreased after 16 October. Especially on November 9, this value reached up to 23.8 SOLs.

    FINDINGS

When we look at the top 10 collections in coral cube, we see that the "Tripping' Ape Tribe" collection came first with 50.5K SOL. And the values of this collection are as follows:

Purchaser number 572, sales number 704, mint number 663 and finally seller number 637.

Our collection with the second highest amount is "Great Goats". This collection succeeded to be the second with its 21.6K SOL amount and its place is 14.5 among the top 10 collections. And the values of this collection are as follows:

Purchaser number 1896, sales number 3019, mint number 2420 and finally seller number 2251.

If we need to interpret these two collections, we see that the nft prices in the "Trippin' Ape Tribe" collection are more expensive than the "Great Goats" because when we examine the data other than amount, the number of sellers, purchaser, mint, sales is lower. This may indicate that "Great Goats" nfts are cheaper.

    FINDINGS

When we look at the top 10 collections in hyperspace, we see that the "DeGods" collection came first with 64.6K SOL. In addition, this collection makes up a very large part of the hyperspace market. Even among only 10 collections, it covers 77.5 percent. And the values of this collection are as follows:

Purchaser number 49, sales number 1187, mint number 60 and finally seller number 52.

Our collection with the second highest amount is "ABC". This collection succeeded to be the second with its 11.7K SOL amount and its place is 14.1 among the top 10 collections. And the values of this collection are as follows:

Purchaser number 91, sales number 975, mint number 103 and finally seller number 67.

When we look at these two collections, we can say that "DeGods" nfts are quite expensive because they have reached 64.6K SOL amount with 1187 sales. The "ABC" collection, on the other hand, was able to reach only 11.7K SOL amount with 975 sales.

    Conclusion

Although Coral Cube overwhelmingly surpasses Hyperspace in terms of number of sales, number of mints, number of buyers, number of sellers, Hyperspace's amount is approximately 24K SOL more.

And if we include the later establishment of hyperspace, it's a really good achievement.( The analysis is based on the start date of hyperspace. What I mean here is that although coral cube is more rooted, it lags behind Hyperspace in amount.)

Thanks to the news about magic eden and Solana creator loyalty in october, Coral Cube has experienced peak points in every metric. But in Hyperspace it was only effective in terms of amount.

The "Trippin' Ape Tribe" collection came first among the top 10 collections of coral cube and I came to the idea that the nfts in this collection are expensive.

The first collection among the top 10 collections in hyperspace was "DeGods" and this collection occupies a large place in Hyperspace. Even among the top 10 collections, its place is 77.5 percent. Also, when we compare it with other collection data, we can say that the nfts of this collection are also more expensive.

The boosts in October are most likely due to 0% creator loyalty. As seen in the tweets and graphs above, there has been a noticeable increase, especially in Coral Cube. However, Hyperspace only saw an increase in amount. The remaining metrics are not up much.

According to the data we collect**, we found that the Coral Cube had higher values, including the number of purchases and sales, the number of buyers and sellers, which indicates popularity. Also, Coral Cube has been in business for more than 7 months. And they did a good job. Coral Cube is preferable in the current situation, but I think Hyperspace will develop more in the near future. Because it got more amount in a short time.
