- NEAR's partnership with SailGP had drawn criticism and backlash from the community. There were allegations that this so-called partnership was a mere excuse to funnel foundation funds to the CEO's SailGP connection. One has to think about what partnering with such a niche/obscure sporting event company/DAO could have brought for the ecosystem regardless of the allegations/money spent. NEAR blog - NEAR's social accounts often tweet out absurd/trend of the week posts that feel awfully similar to what a pump and dump meme coins/zombie coins would do. Most of these are similar to the running joke of AWS/Google partnerships, which most sophisticated market participants know are often nothing specific to the chain posting about them and are actually a chain-agnostic program/partnership.
