Q13. How does Flow compare to other L1s in terms of user retention? Is a user who made a transaction previously likely to make another transaction a week or a month later? Compare and contrast this type of activity vs other L1s like Solana and Ethereum

Methodology

In the first time period, we select users that do transactions, and then in the next time period, we calculate the percentage of the users in the first time period who have made at least one more transaction in the next time period.

• The first time period is : "2022-06-09" to "2022-06-15".

we calculate % of users in the above time period who have made another transaction in following two next time periods:

• next time period 1: 1 week after the first time period, 2022-06-16" to "2022-06-22".
• next time period 2: 1 month after the first time period, 2022-07-14" to "2022-07-20".

• The 84% of FLOW users have done more than 1 transaction.
• The 56% of Ethereum users have executed more than 1 transaction.
• The 69% of users of Solana blockchain have done more than 1 transaction

we can obviously see number of users who made their last transaction a week or a month later than their first transaction, on Solana and Ethereum is more than Flow.

This means most of the users who made their first and last transactions within a week belong to Flow blockchain.
