The league will operate on a matchmaking points based system, where every win increases your MMR, and every loss reduces it. The amount of MMR you earn per Victory depends on the average match MMR. To calibrate your initial MMR, you need to play 10 placement matches. The Championship will be open for two hours every day between 8pm - 10pm GMT +2 for Europe and 8pm - 10pm PHT for the South East Asia region. During that time, you will be able to either queue for a match or challenge other players. The matchmaking rating points (MMR) will be updated after each match. The bot will be installed on Monday, just 1 hour prior the start of the season. In order to ensure an optimal gaming experience, EU & NA players will be assigned to servers based on the prevailing player demographics. If the majority of players originate from NA, they will play to the NA server, whereas if the player base is predominantly from EU, they will play to the EU server. This thoughtful matchmaking approach aims to provide an immersive and enjoyable gaming environment for all participants, fostering seamless gameplay and enhanced connectivity. Battle For Giostone moderators and staff have the right to make judgment calls where necessary, and their decision is final.
