Description of Work
In this bounty, we want to know how does NEAR stock up to other L1s in terms of speed and performance? How fast is NEAR, and compare it with other blockchain speeds in terms of Transactions per Minute (TPM) and percentage of transactions that Fail. We compare Near with Flow, Ethereum and Avalanche in terms of speed and performance. For this, we check the following items:
- Average Total/Success/Fail TPM for Near, Flow, Ethereum and Avalanche from 2022-06-01 onwards
- TPM over time for Near, Flow, Ethereum and Avalanche from 2022-06-01 onwards
- Average Blocks Per Hour (BPH) for Near, Flow, Ethereum and Avalanche from 2022-06-01 onwards
- BPH over time for Near, Flow, Ethereum and Avalanche from 2022-06-01 onwards
- Daily Total transactions, transactions that Success and transactions that Fail 2022-06-01 onwards
- Percentage of transactions that Fail over time \n

It can be seen that the Average TPM for Near is 302, for Ethereum is 759, for Flow is 626 and for Avalanche is 161
- Average TPM of Near is almost 1.8 times higher than Avalanche
- Average TPM of Flow is almost 2 times higher than Near
- Average TPM of Ethereum is almost 2.5 times higher than Near

- It can be seen that the Average Success TPM for Near is 254, for Ethereum is 726, for Flow is 583 and for Avalanche is 144

- Average Success TPM of Ethereum is almost 2.85 times higher than Near

Observations
- As you can see, the Number of Transactions per minute (TPM) over time is more for Ethereum than others, then Flow is in the second place, then Near and finally Avalanche.

- It can be seen that TPM in Ethereum is very stable and no significant changes are observed over time
- TPM in Flow is not very stable and over time we see significant changes in the observation and it fluctuates a lot
- For Near and Avalanche, slight fluctuations in TPM are observed
Observations
- It can be seen that the amount of BPH is the lowest in Ethereum, which means fewer blocks are created per hour, and it indicates the high volume of blocks in Ethereum to perform transactions and process transactions.
- It can be seen that the highest amount of BPH in Near is the highest, which means that more blocks are created per hour, and it indicates the low volume of blocks in Near for conducting transactions and processing transactions.
Observations

The Success Rate in Ethereum is 95.65% higher than all other blockchains and it has a low Failure Rate (4.35%)

Near Success Rate is lower than other blockchains (84.2%) and its Failure Rate is the highest (15.8% :slightly_smiling_face:)

After Ethereum, Flow has the highest Success Rate (93.16%) and the lowest Failure Rate (6.84%)

After Flow, Avalanche has the highest Success Rate (89.28%) and the lowest Failure Rate (10.72%)

Final Conclusion
> By comparing the 4 blockchains Near, Avalanche, Ethereum and Flow, we came to the conclusion that the Ethereum blockchain is the fastest with an average of 759 transactions per minute, and after Flow with 629, Near with 302 and Avalanche with 161 is the last in terms of The Speed is located. Also, Ethereum Success Rate is 95.65% and its Failure Rate is 4.35%, which has the highest Performance among blockchains, followed by Flow with a Success Rate of 93.16% and a 6.84% Failure Rate, followed by Avalanche with a Success Rate of 89.28% and the Failure Rate of 10.72% is in the third place in terms of Performance, and finally Near is in the last place in terms of Performance with a Success Rate of 84.2% and a Failure Rate of 15.8%.
