Description of work:

• Let’s look at the month of May and June to understand if the Algorand NFT scene is onboarding new wallets. For this we want to focus on wallets that have > 1 ALGO and look at two different groups all wallets > 1 ALGO and wallets created in May and June with > 1 ALGO. Also note we only want to look at arc69 NFTs. so we want check the:

  • What are the total number of wallets that have > 1 ALGO?
    • How many of these wallets(what percent) were created in May/June 2022?
  • What percent of each of these wallets groups hold an NFT?
  • What percent of each wallet group(total & May/June) received an NFT in May/June?
  • How many wallets received an NFT in May compared to April?
  • For wallets that were created in May/June and received an NFT- what is the distribution of these wallets balances?
  • For wallets that were NOT created in May/June and received an NFT in May/June- what is the distribution of these wallets balances?
    • How do these compare? Do we see these new wallets having more or less ALGO balance.
  • How many of the new wallets in May/June that received an NFT, received more than 1 NFT

1 ---> What are the total number of wallets that have > 1 ALGO?

• To address this section we use the [algorand.account] table and count all wallet address where `[account_closed = false and balance > 1

According to the above results, it is clear that:

• The total number of wallets with 1 > ALGO is 934603
• Total number of wallets created in May and June with > 1 ALGO is 47309 which is about 5.06% of the total wallets with more than 1 ALGO

2 ---> What percent of each of these wallets groups hold an NFT?

According to the results, it is clear that:

• For Group 1 (all wallets with more than 1 ALGO), the total number is 934603, of which 13298 hold at least one NFT, ie about 1.42%
• For Group 2 (wallets created in May/Jun with more than 1 ALGO), the total number is 47309, of which 1323 hold at least one NFT, ie about 2.79%

3 ---> What percent of each wallet group(total & May/June) received an NFT in May/June?

According to the results, it is clear that:

• For Group 1 (all wallets with more than 1 ALGO), the total number is 934603, of which 13298 hold at least one NFT, ie about 1.42% and Of these, 7,026 were in May/Jun. Approximately 0.75% of the total is for May/Jun ---> In other words, of the total addresses, 52.83% received an NFT in May/June and 47.16% received it before May 2022.
• For Group 2 (wallets created in May/Jun with more than 1 ALGO), the total number is 47309, of which 1323 hold at least one NFT, ie about 2.79% and Of these, 1323 were in May/Jun. Approximately 2.79% of the total is for May/Jun ---> In other words, for this group of addresses they received all the NFTs in May/Jun, and this is quite clear.

4 ---> How many wallets received an NFT in May compared to April?

According to the results, it is clear that:

• The total number of addresses that received an NFT in May was 6,274, which is about 0.67% of the total number of addresses that received an NFT.
• The total number of addresses that received an NFT in April was 6313, which is about 0.67% of the total number of addresses that received an NFT.
• The total number of NFTs received in May and April was 12,587, of which 49.84% were received in May and 50.16% in April.

5 ---> Distribution wallets balances that were created in May/June and received an NFT

According to the results, it is clear that:

• Of the total wallets created in May/Jun that received an NFT, 97.2% had a balance of less than 1000 ALGO

6 ---> For wallets that were NOT created in May/June and received an NFT in May/June- what is the distribution of these wallets balances?

According to the results, it is clear that:

• Of the total wallets NOT created in May/Jun that received an NFT in May/Jun, 85.2% had a balance of less than 1000 ALGO
• Wallets that were NOT created in May/June and received an NFT in May/June have a higher average balance than the other group (wallets created in May/Jun and received an NFT)

7 ---> How many of the new wallets in May/June that received an NFT, received more than 1 NFT

According to the results, it is clear that:

• Of the total of 1323 addresses that received an NFT and were created in May/June, 838 received more than 1 NFT, or approximately 63.34%.
