Aave 27 - The Degens to Rule Them All

    The top 10 addresses with at least $1mm at stake on Aave by lowest average collateralization ratio (collateral over debt - so the higher the ratio, the less risky the loan is) on all of their positions (that didn't end up being liquidated) over the past 6 months?

    First, let us contemplate AD#5391's teachings on the difference between a farmer and a Degen:

    In other words, a Degen is a careless borrower who gambles on high yield opportunities.

    Aave allows users to borrow funds against deposited collateral. Users can be subject to a liquidation when their collateral value no longer properly covers their debt/loan value. Source: Aave Docs .

    I go into more details on the liquidation process in my previous submission for Aave #26 .

    Playing with Fire - Top Ten Degens on Aave

    The Degen list is filtered based on the following:

    • data is from the last six months;
    • all loans are collateralized; and
    • the user maintained positive liquidity (supplied_USD > 0)

    The crucial line in the query is the following: 'borrower_address != borrower'. This produces a list of addresses that borrowed but were not liquidated.
