Daily Transactions and Unique Addresses

Count and plot the number of daily transactions and unique addresses on polygon, beginning June 1, 2021. In your estimation, discuss whether polygon is still launching up, has reached a plateau, etc.

Compared to ETH, Polygon gas fees are close to nothing (think 0.0002 MATIC) as opposed to ETH's insane gas fees. There hasn't been much difference in terms of gas used but there has been an increase of daily polygon fees.

There has been a slight decline in daily transactions, possibly an indication of a shift in user preference.

However, there is an increasing amount of daily unique addresses on Polygon, increasing more than double since June with over 120k addresses as of end of August compared to 50k in early June.

There isn't much of a pattern in terms of daily unique addresses bridging from ETH to MATIC, fluctuating between 20k-32k on average.

Launched in October 2017 under the previous name Matic Network, Polygon is an interchain scalability solution that intends to bring the adaptability and scalability of alt chains along with Ethereum’s security, liquidity, and interoperability. It aims to become an effective scalability solution created for the Ethereum network.
