Arbitrum network health after airdrop
Arbitrum, a highly-anticipated Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum, has been making waves in the crypto community since its launch. Developed by Offchain Labs, Arbitrum seeks to address Ethereum's congestion and high gas fees by offering fast and cheap transactions while maintaining the security and decentralization of the Ethereum network.
Recently, Arbitrum made headlines again with the launch of its new ARB token, which will serve as the native currency of the Arbitrum network. The ARB token will be used to pay for transaction fees, as well as for staking and governance within the network. With the launch of the ARB token, the Arbitrum network is poised to become even more attractive to developers and users alike.
The intention of this dashboard is to delve into analyzing the behavior of users who received the ARB token airdrop.
The first question we can look at is what users are doing with their ARB tokens. We can analyze the number of ARB tokens being held in wallets, the amount of ARB tokens being sold on exchanges, and the number of ARB tokens being bridged to other networks. By analyzing these metrics, we can determine whether users are holding onto their ARB tokens for long-term value, selling them for short-term gains, or bridging them to other networks to use in other applications.
Next, we can examine the bridging activity on the Arbitrum network. We can analyze whether airdrop claimers are bridging out of the network, potentially indicating a lack of interest or value in the ARB token. Additionally, we can identify whether there are non-airdrop allocated users entering the ecosystem and what they are mostly doing with their tokens.
To get a better understanding of the general network activity, we can examine the transaction volume across different platforms and applications built on Arbitrum. By analyzing which platforms are experiencing more or less volume, we can identify which applications are gaining traction and potentially driving the adoption of the Arbitrum network.
Finally, we can analyze the trading activity of the ARB token and other tokens on Arbitrum-based exchanges. We can identify which tokens are being traded most frequently, whether the prices of these tokens are depressed or inflated, and how trading activity has evolved over time. By examining these metrics, we can identify trends and potential market opportunities within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
To celebrate the launch of the ARB token, Arbitrum conducted a token airdrop distribution to users who had previously interacted with the network. This airdrop, which distributed a total of more tahn a billion ARB tokens, was met with enthusiasm by the community and further increased interest in the Arbitrum network.
The image on the left shows the amount of daily airdropers claiming the $ARB tokens being more than 500k so far.
