Bentobox Stats II

What's the average holding period of each user from initial deposit to Bentobox until withdrawal of at least half of the total deposit? What percentage of users who supply stable coins to bento, also supply other coins? what percentage stick to stable coins?

    Introduction and methods

The BentoBox protocol is the Sushiswap vault that securely stores the tokens, and generates returns from flash loans and other financial strategies, while Kashi is the one that uses the assets stored in BentoBox to lend, borrow and trade on Sushiswap.

In this dashboard, we will analyze the user behaviour on that Sushiswap feature in terms of average holding period per user in terms of initial deposit and last deposit. On the other hand, we will try to know the percentage of users who supplu stablecoins to Bentobox and also supply other coins. Because of it is available on Ethereum and Polygon networks, we will try to assess all metricss in both platforms. As well, the deposits of less than $50 USD have been ignored for this study.

In this first chart, we can see the average holding period in days on Bentobox by each platform, Ethereum and Polygon. In Ethereum, users are usually holding around a 40% more days than in Polygon. While in Polygon the average holding period is around 21 days, in Ethereum is more than 31 days.

Regarding percentage of users that supply stablecoins on Bentobox that also supply other coins, we first calculate other interesting metrics.

In case of Ethereum, 1524 unique users have deposited on Bentobox so far. From that users, 308 have supplied some stablecoin, while 1322 ahve supply alternative coins. Out of the 308 users that are supplying stablecoins, 106 of them are supplying as well other coins, representing 34.4% of them.

In case of Polygon, 1212 unique users have deposited on Bentobox so far. From that users, 414 have supplied some stablecoin, while 926 ahve supply alternative coins. Out of the 414 users that are supplying stablecoins, 128 of them are supplying as well other coins, representing 30.92% of them.

    Conclusions

In this dashboard we have analyzed interesint metrics about the user behaviour on Bentobox in both networks, Ethereum and Polygon. Basically, we have oberved the average period holding of users on each network as well as the percentage of users supplying stablecoins and other coins at the same time.

    The final insights are:

    • Ethereum users are holding more days in average (31) than Polygon (21).
    • More users are supplying on Ethereum in comparison to Polygon.
    • More users are supplying stablecoins in Bentobox on Polygon than in Ethereum network.
    • 34.4% of Ethereum users that are supplying stablecoins are also supplying other coins. This number is higher than in Polygon where 30.92% of users supplying stablecoins on Bentoox are also supplying other coins.
