GNS Derivative on Arbitrum
Introduction
Arbitrum is one of Ethereum's most promising layer 2 solutions. It is a protocol that uses optimistic rollup technology to perform complex operations allowing the Ethereum network to be more scalable and efficient.
Gains Network is a liquidity-efficient, powerful, and user-friendly decentralized leveraged trading platform, providing a synthetic architecture through its main product gTrade to work with more capital efficient than any existing platform. The main features of the platform are its low trading fees, and a wide range of leverages and pairs: up to 150x on cryptos, 1000x on forex, 100x on stocks, and 35x on indices [1].
GNS token ($GNS) is the main Gains Network token. GNS acts as a mechanism of liquidity efficiency which helps to capitalise resources and offer the best trading experience [2].
The intention of this dashboard is to provide the activity of Gains Network traders, not only in general terms over the past 3 months (mainly since inception because the launch was less than 3 months ago), but also during the past month and over the past 24 hours.
To do this approach, I have used the data obtained on Flipside Arbitrum fact_transactions table filtering by “Transfer” event type and I have filtered the rows by where contract_address in (
'0x2f67a8d26f370b922b31b199c7946c3ed53c10c6', '0x6c612c804c84e3d20e3109c8efd06cd2d8b28f46', '0xcfa6ebd475d89db04cad5a756fff1cb2bc5be33c'
) and contract address in Gain Network contracts.

Key insights
- The Gains Network on Arbitrum has generated a lot of volume in swaps, reaching more than $0.5B since the start of the year.
- Even recently there has been an announcement about the important milestone about surpassed, in terms of total generated volume in Arbitrum, over $1.5B volume, it seems that its not so accurated [3]. So, Flipside Crypto on-chain data shows that there surpassed the $0.5B volume but not reached the $1.5B yet.
- The general swapping activity seems to be increased since the start of the year, and thus, since the Gains Network launc on Arbitrum. In fact, there have been almost 5k users swapping there carrying out almost 50k swaps. But, the most important metrics that must be highlighted are the volume swapped and the consequent generated fees. In this case, both increased dramatically since inception but had a peak during the last week of January.
- The total volume swapped exceeds the $0.5B and the total generated fees surpassed the 400k USD.
