Introduction

The Osmosis Labs team was a major contributor to the Osmosis Protocol (osmosis.zone). Osmosis is a first-of-its-kind automated market maker (AMM) that marks a foundational shift in how liquidity providers can benefit from Interchain DeFi. Osmosis allows users to compound yield by leveraging Osmosis’ novel innovation called Superfluid Staking; eliminates miner extractable value; and provides greater latitude for developers to innovate within DeFi given the flexibility of the Cosmos SDK.

Since the start of November, the Osmosis Support Labs team has run the Pool of the Week program, highlighting important and/or new pools within the ecosystem. 

There are 4 Osmosis pools that were chosen as the Pool of The Week:

Methods

Since the start of November, the Osmosis Support Labs team has run the Pool of the Week program, highlighting important and/or new pools within the ecosystem.

There are 4 Osmosis pools that were chosen as the Pool of The Week:

11/11/22 Pool #833 - stOSMO / OSMO

On 11/11/22 the pool of the week was Pool #833 - stOSMO / OSMO. First of all, we have analyzed the daily stOSMO/OSMO inflow. We see that after day 11 there was a growth of the deposit and withdraw but then it returns to the previous values. There is not much impact. If we look at the distribution of stOSMO/OSMO volume by action we clearly see that at the beginning to the middle of the month there is a higher amount of deposits than withdrawals. Then we see that withdraws are more predominant.

We have analyzed the daily stOSMO/OSMO volume of deposits and withdraws. We see that from the beginning to the middle of the month the deposits were predominant, reaching more than 300k. However, after that it seems that it tends to a downward trend. On the other hand, the withdraws show a stable trend during the whole month. In the daily stOSMO/OSMO net volume we see that after Pool of the Week announcement the net volume is positive during the first week. After that, there are quite a few days where the values are negative.

Finally, we have analyzed the daily of stOSMO/OSMO TVL. We see that the pool value has increased. At the beginning of November the pool increased considerably, with an increase of 0.8M. After Pool of the Week announcement the value of the pool increased even more radically. It went from 0.8M to 1.4M. After that the pool had more stable values.

11/15/22 Pool #837 - IST / OSMO

On 11/15/22 the pool of the week was Pool #837 - IST / OSMO. First of all, we have analyzed the daily IST/OSMO inflow. We see that after day 15 values drop slightly and then remain stable for the rest of the month. Even so, there is no radical change in values. If we look at the distribution of IST/OSMO volume by action we clearly see that at the beginning to the middle of the month there is a higher amount of deposits than withdrawals. Then we see that withdrawls are more predominant.

We have analyzed the daily IST/OSMO volume of deposits and withdraws. We see that from the beginning to the middle of the month the deposits were predominant, reaching 320k volume. However, after that it seems that it tends to a downward trend. On the other hand, the withdrawls show a stable trend during the whole month. In the daily IST/OSMO net volume we see that after Pool of the Week announcement the net volume is positive during the first 4 days. After that, there are more negative values during the month.

Finally, we have analyzed the daily of IST/OSMO TVL. We see that the pool value has increased. At the beginning of November the pool increased considerably, with an increase of 0.9M. After Pool of the Week announcement the value of the pool increased even more radically. It went from 0.9M to 1.3M. After these values, the value of the pool decreased to 1M.

11/22/22 Pool #840 - BNB / OSMO

On 11/22/22 the pool of the week was Pool #840 - BNB / OSMO. First of all, we have analyzed the daily BNB/OSMO inflow. We see that after day 22 values decrease a little and then remain stable for the rest of the month. Even so, there is no radical change in values. If we look at the distribution of BNB/OSMO volume by action we clearly see that at the beginning to the middle of the month there is a higher amount of deposits than withdrawals. Then we see that withdrawls are more predominant.

Secondly, we have analyzed the daily BNB/OSMO volume of deposits and withdraws. We see that from the beginning to the middle of the month the deposits were predominant, reaching more than 300k volume. However, after that it seems that it tends to a downward trend. On the other hand, the withdrawls show a stable trend during the whole month. In the daily BNB/OSMO net volume we see that after Pool of the Week announcement the net volume, during the following days the values are almost all negative. At the end of the month they go up a little again.

Finally, we have analyzed the daily of BNB/OSMO TVL. We see that the pool value has increased. At the beginning of November the pool increased considerably, with an increase of 1,2M. After Pool of the Week announcement the value of the pool decreased a little. It went from 1,2M to 1,1M. At the end of the month, the TVL increase to 1,3M.

11/29/22 Pool #634 - wETH.grv / OSMO

On 11/29/22 the pool of the week was Pool #634 - wETH.grv / OSMO. First of all, we have analyzed the daily wETH.grv/OSMO inflow. We see that after day 29 values decrease a little. Even so, there is no radical change in values. If we look at the distribution of wETH.grv/OSMO volume by action we clearly see that at the beginning to the middle of the month there is a higher amount of deposits than withdrawals. Then we see that withdrawls are more predominant.

Secondly, we have analyzed the daily wETH.grv/OSMO volume of deposits and withdraws. We see that from the beginning to the middle of the month the deposits were predominant, reaching more than 300k volume. However, after that it seems that it tends to a downward trend. On the other hand, the withdrawls show a stable trend during the whole month. In the daily wETH.grv/OSMO net volume we see that after Pool of the Week announcement, the net volume rises and has positive values for four days. The following three days the values are negative.

Finally, we have analyzed the daily of wETH.grv/OSMO TVL. We see that the pool value has increased. At the beginning of November the pool increased considerably, with an increase of 1M. After Pool of the Week announcement the value of the pool increase a little. It went from 1M to 1,3M.
