Across Protocol Airdrop

Methodology

In this dashboard, I used ethereum.core.ez_token_transfers table to get information about Across Protocol airdrop , and I filtered every transaction that is from contract '0xe50b2ceac4f60e840ae513924033e753e2366487', which is related to Across Protocol. and then using the ACX token contract 0x44108f0223a3c3028f5fe7aec7f9bb2e66bef82f, I have displayed airdrops received from Across Protocol

In the following, using HOP and Synapse protocol contracts, I will compare different bridge metrics with these two protocols.

Across Protocol

Across is a cross-chain bridge for L2s and rollups secured by UMA's optimistic oracle. It is optimized for capital efficiency with a single liquidity pool, a competitive relayer landscape, and a no-slippage fee model.

A total of 1,000,000,000 $ACX will be minted at inception and 125,000,000 $ACX will be distributed through an airdrop to users who have contributed to Across.

ACX Claim and Claimers

In the charts below, we have displayed the information and metrics related to ACX token airdrop in hourly and overall basis.

A large part of the volume and number of claim has been done in the first hour, and so far 952 users have done one claim transaction each.

as time passes from the start date of ACX drop token, number and volume of claims will be less and less

total ACX token supply will be 1B ACX and total amount released via airdrop will be 125M ACX

As a result, 2.8% of all airdrops have been dropped so far and almost 97% are still left.

In the charts above, you can see top 10 users with the largest amount of claims and you can also see percentage of each of top 10 users compared to total tokens that have been claimed so far.

Distribution of Claimed Airdrop

In the charts below, you can see the distribution of number and amount of airdrops, which are categorized according to different ranges

The highest amount of claim was received by wallet 0x5d542fbf0c9c56f6f9d08b7fed3f53544b3b7902 and its amount is 119.3K ACX

This wallet alone has received 3.3% of all claimed airdrops so far

TVL of Across Protocol

In the chart below, you can see daily volume of Across Protocol TVL, which is displayed based on each token

The highest number of claimed airdrops was in the range of '1K and 10K ACX' and their total number has been 287 transactions so far

But the highest total amount of airdrops is in range of '10K and 50K ACX' and its total amount is 1.67M ACX.

So far there have only been 4 transactions or users that have claimed over 100K ACX

Comparison of Across Protocol Bridges with Other Protocols

In the charts below, we will compare different bridge metrics in Across Protocol with other protocols such as HOP and Synapse.

As you can see, total amount of TVL decreased sharply at end of May 2022 and after the collapse of the Terra network.

Since the beginning of bear market, daily volume of TVL has decreased in the Across Protocol

In recent days and after November 26, the volume of TVL by USDC and WETH tokens has started to increase.

The reason for this could be start of ACX token drop

number of daily bridges and number of daily users of the Synapse protocol exceeded that of Across until October 10, 2022.

But after this date, you can see that number of Across bridges is more than Synapse day by day

Most of the days, number of bridges in HOP was more than these two protocols

Only once between November 24th and 27th, number of daily bridges and number of users on Across exceeded even HOP.

On November 24th, most daily bridges on Across were made in 2022 and on this day 2K bridges were recorded by 1K users.

total number of bridges made on Across since beginning of 2022 has been 41.5K bridges made by 13.2K unique users.

total bridges made on HOP Protocol since 2022 has been almost 82K bridges made by 32.2K users.

total number of bridges made on Synapse since beginning of 2022 has been 35K bridges made by 8K bridgers.

Conclusions

According to the results obtained in this dashboard, we understand that so far amount of 3.59M ACX has been claimed by users as airdrop, this amount is only 3% of total airdrop that is going to be dropped in the future.

Most airdrops have been claimed in range between 1K and 10K ACX

airdrop of the Across protocol has caused a slight increase in TVL volume on Across in recent days

Compared to other bridge protocols, Across has a close competition with HOP and these two protocols are equal competitors.

The most action after claim is Transfer and its total amount is 2.8K transactions and its share compared to other actions is 43%

After that, Approval action with 1.5K transactions is the most Claimers action

In general, 657 users did not hold the ACX tokens after claiming , and 323 users still held the claimed airdrops.
