Introduction

In this dashboard, we have calculated and analyzed the stake related to Lido, Rocketpool and Ankr platforms and the prices of tokens of these 3 platforms as well as the swap activities of users with them. In this analysis, we have used the following tables

    ethereum.core.fact_hourly_token_prices

    ethereum.core.ez_eth_transfers

    ethereum.core.ez_dex_swaps

    What Is aETH?

ankrETH (aETH) is a decentralized network that offers multi-chain solutions and services over 50 proof-of-stake (PoS) chains. According to the official document, ankrETHsimplifies building and earning on the blockchain for developers, individuals, and enterprises. ANKR is the native token of the ankrETHnetwork. aETHc (formerly known as aETH) is a synthetic derivative asset denoting the user's ETH stake plus earned staking rewards.

    What is rETH?

Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) is the Rocket Pool protocol's liquid staking token. The rETH token represents an amount of ETH that is being staked and earning rewards within Ethereum Proof-of-Stake. As Rocket Pool node operators, stake Ethereum on Proof-of-Stake the resulting rewards increase the value of rETH relative to ETH.

    What is stETH?

Lido Staked Ether (stETH) is a token that represents your staked ether in Lido, combining the value of initial deposit and staking rewards. stETH tokens are minted upon deposit and burned when redeemed. While the price of stETH to ETH is based on the market demand, stETH token balances are pegged 1:1 to the ethers that are staked by Lido and the token’s balances are updated daily to reflect earnings and rewards. At this moment, stETH price can deviate from 1 ETH as it is currently not possible to claim the underlying ETH until Ethereum 2.0 fully merges.

In the charts of the first part, the prices of aETH, rETH and stETH tokens are compared separately and together with the price of Ethereum.

As it is known, the price of rETH has always been slightly higher than Ethereum and in most cases its price has been higher than other tokens.

After that is the stETH token, which has been able to keep its price close to Ethereum

But the aETH token has had a lower price than other tokens in most cases, and its price has always been slightly lower than Ethereum.

But if we want to compare the prices more accurately, we must check the tokens in terms of their peg rate to Ethereum.

In the above charts, you can see the comparison of the pegs of each token separately and simultaneously on a daily basis with Ethereum.

As it is known, the pegged rate of aETH token has been higher than Ethereum in all cases, except for one or two days, and it has kept the pegged rate even higher than 100%.

The peg rate of the stETH token was an acceptable rate until May 8, 2022, but after this date, it lost its peg status and on June 18, we will see the lowest peg rate of this token in its history.

But you can see the rETH token, which has always had a peg rate of less than 100%, and on March 17, the peg rate of this token reached 81% compared to Ethereum, which recorded the lowest rate compared to other tokens.

Well, in this section, swap activities are displayed based on ETH volume and USD volume

As it is known, in the "Swap to" section, the largest amount is for the stETH token, that is, 2.45M ETH has been swapped to this token, followed by the rETH token with 312K ETH and then the aETH token with 15.2K ETH

In the "Swap from" section, the positions are the same as before, i.e. stETH with the volume of 2.76M ETH, followed by the rETH token with 183K ETH and then the aETH token with 16K ETH.

In the charts above, you can see the weekly volume and the total volume of deposits into Liquid Staking Platforms, as it is clear that Lido has the largest volume of deposits with a total of 4.3M ETH.

And after that Rocketpool and Ankr have 132K and 60K ETH respectively by users.

The interesting thing is that after May 9, the volume of deposits into the Lido platform is much less than before.

    Results

    1. Among the 3 tokens examined, the Rocketpool platform with the rETH token has performed the best among other tokens in terms of price and its peg ratio with Ethereum, and after that the stETH token has performed relatively well. But the aETH token has never been fully pegged to Ethereum
    2. In terms of staking volume, the stETH token or the Lido platform has had the most deposits and stakes by users, and the next two platforms are in the next ranks by a large margin.
    3. in the "Swap to" section, the largest amount is for the stETH token, that is, 2.45M ETH has been swapped to this token, followed by the rETH token with 312K ETH and then the aETH token with 15.2K ETH
    4. In the "Swap from" section, the positions are the same as before, i.e. stETH with the volume of 2.76M ETH, followed by the rETH token with 183K ETH and then the aETH token with 16K ETH.
